A lot of DFW providers describe themselves this way. What does this really mean to all of you...besides being more expensive?

That word doesn't mean shit to me. When i see ads I'm only looking for photos, location, rate, and menu. The rest is just white noise. Men are simple creatures... here is my ideal ad.

That's exactly what I'm looking for in an ad. Something that provides enough detail, a couple of pics and voila.

Upscale always makes me think the per hour charge will be $100 to $200 higher, the screening will be more stringent but the actual service will be no better than your average $200 to $250 provider.

Perhaps they have more refined tastes or can appreciate expensive gifts??

Upscale to me would be someone that could easily charge $1,000+/hr because they have elite PSE and GFE skills, can mingle amongst a wide array of people with top notch conversational and analytical ability and are physically attractive enough to get unsolicited DM's from wealthy/famous men on a regular basis.

Essentially...someone way out of my zone. Normal girl next door with expensive tastes doesn't seem "upscale."

upscale, downscale, fishscale, rescale, subscale, overscale, mesoscale. When BCD as long as I find No Scales on her, it's all the same.

Seeing the term "upscale" is as much as a swipe left for me as seeing a provider handle with a car or gem in the name. i.e. Porsche, diamond, lexus, emerald, etc. Many times it's when a pimp uses car and gem names to keep track.

For some upscale means a 3 star hotel as opposed to a 1 star notel.

Upscale can mean so much to so many.

The 'high end' date is what I think of as upscale. The 'expensive' date is what we often see marketed as upscale.

High end seems perfect for the divorced C-level executive that wants companionship but doesn't have time for a full-blown relationship at the moment. She's the kind of woman he would WANT to make wife #2 if it were feasible.

Like much in life, what it DOES mean and what it SHOULD mean are not the same and all too often bear little relation to reality. Sadly.

Alot of providers use this word very loosely. Some are even camped out at Motel 6, Deluxe Inn, Budget Suites and other similar places. Yeah it's upscale from being homeless. Not to mention some of the apartment complexes and certain neighborhoods they operate in. It's just another BS marketing tactic along with words like "I'm the best you ever had", yeah right. "I will do what she won't", yeah right. "The wettest, the juiciest" "Mouth of the South" "Head Doctor" and all the common bs phrases they use. All this is just smoke and mirrors to get your business. You will know upscale when you see it, hear it, smell it and taste it. Location plays a big roll in being upscale along with accommodations. The way the provider does business can be an indication. Beauty, appearance and status can point towards upscale.
