Gotta agree that the band was.. ummm...well it was an Irish pub so I guess you need an accordian player, a violinist, a singer and a couple of guitars to fit the bill. Saw a few folks that were looking like they were going to dance a jig at any moment. lol

Thank you Anita!! It was so much fun! What a great group we had show up tonight!! It was so nice to catch up with folks I hadn't seen in quite a while and also to meet some new ones.

I'm looking forward to the next one, too!

It was a good time. Glad I made it. The band was to loud for the type of music they played, and size of the room. They made more noise than the "GOOD RATS" do in a room full of bikers.

edit add: thinking if the band was better, I would have asked each lady for a dance. Its been a long time the last time I went dancing. So maybe it was a good thing.

Thanks, ‘Nita, for getting us all together. It was great to meet some ladies I never thought I’d get the chance to meet and to see old friends that I was afraid I’d never see again. Just made me think how congenial this board could be if given the chance to put faces to names. Who knows, maybe GP, Docdave, and Doove will all be laughing together at the next one with Jon Balls?

BTW, the band might have not been our style, but I did like the bar itself. The staff was excellent, and it was a fun place. I have no problem if someone wants to try a different place next time, but I would go back there too, NP.

I think they would want us back, too. We were giving a few onlookers at the bar some good entertainment, no doubt! I think they REALLY liked it when we were playing with Lynn's shoes! (EVERYBODY liked those damn shoes!!)

I didn't eat there, though, and heard from a few that the food maybe wasn't so great. But Man, that place was packed! We probably should give them a little leeway for that.

Normally I like that type of music. But when the rest of the band is so loud that you can not hear the drummer mmmmm not good. The bar and staff was very good.

My hockey team lost to Anita's. So it was good that she was busy being a great hostess we never made a bet on the game.

What a great time!!!! I want to thanks everyone that showed up for making me feel so welcome. The ladies were hot and the guys were cool.

A special thanks to Anita for all the work she did setting this up. Great job. Hope there are more to come.

It was a great location, really enjoyed the bar area. Have to agree with everyone else about the band. Oh well.
