Obama will never let Bernie get the nomination. I believe he would book time on CNN and MSNBC and make a public statement to that effect if it looks like Bernie comes out of Super Tuesday with a commanding lead. Literally nobody but a couple of million whack job Socialist/ Communists want Bernie elected. The mainstream of the Democratic Party, Wall Street, the Military and Foreign policy experts and a list of other important persons and institutions do not want to see Bernie elected.

All the more reason to see Bernie nominated - no way he could carry middle America.

The elderly communist would be soundly defeated.

same for Mad Lyin' Lizzie - either of those two nominated would be just fine.

Biden's advancing dementia will cost him a shot - he is not medically fit.

“If Bernie doesn’t get the nomination, or if it goes to a second round at the DNC Convention, f*cking Milwaukee will burn,” he said, adding that it would only start with Milwaukee, where the convention is being held. “When the police push back on that, other cities will f*cking [makes explosion sound].”

Let us just suppose - just for a moment - that Burnie got the nomination, and won the election. The result is that his personal guards at the Whitehouse, and his transportation on helicopters would be with the US Marine Corps.

There are hundreds of thousands present and former US Marines that received the same training as Lee Harvey Oswald, many had training that ranged from much better to more complete.

A note on his political philosophy:
The merit of Marx is that he suddenly produces a qualitative change in the history of social thought. He interprets history, understands its dynamic, predicts the future, but in addition to predicting it (which would satisfy his scientific obligation), he expresses a revolutionary concept: the world must not only be interpreted, it must be transformed. Man ceases to be the slave and tool of his environment and converts himself into the architect of his own destiny.
— Che Guevara, Notes for the Study of the Ideology of the Cuban, October 1960 [150]
In September 1960, when Guevara was asked about Cuba's ideology at the First Latin American Congress, he replied, "If I were asked whether our revolution is Communist, I would define it as Marxist. Our revolution has discovered by its methods the paths that Marx pointed out."[151] Consequently, when enacting and advocating Cuban policy, Guevara cited the political philosopher Karl Marx as his ideological inspiration. In defending his political stance, Guevara confidently remarked, "There are truths so evident, so much a part of people's knowledge, that it is now useless to discuss them. One ought to be Marxist with the same naturalness with which one is 'Newtonian' in physics, or 'Pasteurian' in biology."[150] According to Guevara, the "practical revolutionaries" of the Cuban Revolution had the goal of "simply fulfill(ing) laws foreseen by Marx, the scientist."[150] Using Marx's predictions and system of dialectical materialism, Guevara professed that "The laws of Marxism are present in the events of the Cuban Revolution, independently of what its leaders profess or fully know of those laws from a theoretical point of view."[150]

Che was a confirmed marxist, and a sociopathic murderer in his term of head of Fidel's prisons for "political enemies">

telling that 9500 and the Fascist DPST's revere him.

another God-idol to join Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Kim, and Putin

They worship their Marxist idols.
If you go around Cuba you'll see posters of Che everywhere. You don't see so many of Fidel. Fidel and the other leaders of the revolution got old and wrinkled. But Che died young and left a good looking corpse. And he was a great idealist. He believed all that Marx crap that oeb quoted. He was Argentine, and left his native land after wandering around South America on a motorcycle to fight for revolution and equality and Communism in Cuba. Then he wandered around the world, fighting for more revolution and equality and Communism in Africa and South America.

So anyway Che is a great symbol for Communists everywhere, and especially in Cuba where they want people to not think about how miserable they are.

When the Mob Ruled Havana

https://www.cigaraficionado.com/arti...b-ruled-havana

Quote:
With Luciano out of the way, Lansky could begin to formulate the kind of operation he had in mind for Cuba, one that was based on casino gambling, which was his forte. Even so, it would take another five years for all of the pieces to fall into place. The man who made it possible—Lansky’s partner in the plundering of Cuba—was none other than the president himself, Fulgencio Batista.

Since the landing of Christopher Columbus in 1492, Cuba has been at the crossroads of many events of international consequence. This history is best personified in the city of Havana, which, to this day, is populated with more spectacular buildings and architectural flourishes than most any city in the Americas. Though much of it has fallen into disrepair, the ancient ruins of Havana still cast a spell, giving the city an air of great import.

In the mid-20th century, few men understood the inner workings of Havana better than Batista. He had been born and raised on the opposite side of the island, in the cane-cutting municipality of Banes, in the province of Holguin. His beginnings were humble. At a time when black people and those of mixed race had little access to social advancement he was mestizo, the latter. But Batista had many traits that made him stand out: he was a hard worker in the cane fields; he also worked on the railroads and as a tailor, mechanic, charcoal vendor and fruit peddler. In 1923, when he joined the Cuban Army, he quickly distinguished himself through his personal discipline, his dedication and his leadership abilities. By 1933, through a rebellion within the ranks of the military known as the Sergeant’s Revolt, Batista—just 32 years old—emerged as the de facto head of the Cuban military.

Maybe we should have left it a playground.

Just a hop, skip and a jump from Epstein's old place.

I am frequently amused where idiots simply do not understand that free speech is not a license to riot.

And, sometimes I just wonder why some cities actually want conventions where public disobedience will happen, and the cities get torn up.

Quote:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
That's what happens when dropouts try to run the country. Can't read!

i think the US policy of economic isolation of Cuba relates more to pacifying the S Florida Cuban immigrants who are anti-Castro. Opening up economically would likely spur government reform much more quickly - the Cubans need to do it themselves. We have no business invading and forcing a regime change. The economic isolation gives the regime what they need - an enemy to blame for all the faults of the Socialist /communist regime.

The same sort of Regime bernie is intent on installing int he US.
I do hope Bernie gets the Fascist DPST nomination - Trump will expose him for the hardened Communist totalitarian he is - and except for kalifornia and NY - Bernie will go down.
And all his Fascist DPST supporters with him!
