913-5x5-55xx to obscure some of the digits. Don't put real world names out here in the public forum. If the guy is a threat you might want to put that in the alerts section so girls with no infoshare access can see it too.

If he isn't a threat but just an asshole you might want to just post it in infoshare to avoid open drama.

Leaving out the real world name and obscuring a couple digits on the phone number is the safe way to share info until someone more appropriate has something more official to add.

This informastion is incomplete and incorrect. Using this method will gain you a brief vacation from the site.

Go to the Inforshare Forum (the ladies private room) and at the top of the forum are two sticky threads that explain how to properly mask a phone number, email address, name and P411 IDs to avoid infractions. You may list the Eccie memebr's handle.

Just wondering what part of obscuring the phone number and don't use the person's real name would get an infraction. I only put X's in for three numbers where you you have previously taken out four I guys. Since girls use the alerts section for this stuff too (at least have been allowed to in the past) maybe it is a good idea ad a sticky there too.

Not trying to argue rules, just wanting to know what the issue was and recommend a sticky for that section too. It seems like there have been a few occasions where a girl signed up just to put an alert over the past several years so I would guess they would have infoshare access. Not an expert there though clearly.

There are specific ways that the info has to be masked. The sticky that they as VP's have access to explains it all if they take the time to click on it ...which always seems to be the issue at times.

I could have been more diplomatic and not so abrupt with my response.

Your suggestion is valid. A sticky in the Alerts forum might be a good idea. We will look into that.
