I have been drooling over a bondage bed for quite a while. I can not afford to buy one does anyone have any plans, guides, examples of any homemade bondage beds? I want to hang people from their toes damn it! Okay maybe not from their toes, but close!!

I just use a four poster bed that is in the bedroom! But I also got a massage table for some naughtiness. Could you improvise just that way?

There are two trains of thought here - a bed that works with your partners/lovers and both of you(s) realize the limitations of the bed/structure. And the other is where you have clients who may "test" their bondage and need a far sturdier type of structure.

Wood can always be used, and its far easier to assemble one of these with someone who is comfortable with a measuring tape, circular saw and a drill. It won't, of course, be as pretty as say a welded metal contraption, but it's far more economical to build and discard as necessary.

"Bondage on a Budget", by Alison Tyler and Dante Davidson;
"The Better-Built Bondage Book: A Complete Guide to Making Your Own Sex Toys, Furniture and BDSM Equipment", by Douglas Kent.

Basically find a design you like, metal, wood, duct tape... doesn't matter. Once you have a general understanding of what you want, consult someone who knows something about load factors and materials. They will be the best ones to tell you that yes, you can suspend someone by their toes on this structure.. AND whip the shit outa them and it will be safe. Or... they'll tell you that will collapse as soon as you think about tying up that toe...

When in doubt use common sense. If you have any thoughts that it might not be enough, then definitely get someone out there who knows what they are talking about and has some experience in this stuff.

Oh, and takes lots of pictures suspended from your bed so we, too, can enjoy it.

This is a truly amazing site. I was just on there looking at them myself. Have to get the kids out first. But it seems like a well made canopy bed and some innocent sash may be pretty and functional, and look so VANILLA.
