The new AF1 will be delivered in 2024. I guess they need to know what the specs will be now. Unless Trump wins a 3rd term, he won’t be using it! If Mayor Pete wins, maybe he’ll choose pink.

the 747-800 is a very well known reliable aircraft.


why does the aircraft after all the equipment installed have to be delivered in 2024? equipment installation shouldn't take more than 3 months.



I can understand how production backlogs can play a factor.


Paint scheme. I thought the AF1 could use some little jazzing up with 3 dimensional colors. 2 colors, blue & white is boring. Its israels colors by the way!

These will be completely new planes. Not updated current ones.

Well, legend has it Jackie O picked the color scheme for the present AF1. People say it’s Iconic. It’s what most of us grew up with. Powder blue? I dunno. Maybe she had other motives. Any AF1 will be Iconic. Maybe time for a change.
