My friend has now evacuated New Orleans for the 4th time. I hope everybody stays safe and if you live near a drainage canal, you have my sympathy.

I don't get why the Mayor is saying not enough time to evacuate. This news had been on the NOAA website for quite a while. Since it was in the south Caribbean

looks like New Orleans will be getting the wet side of the storm. theres a good rain band to the east of the storm.
looks like Ida may make landfall west of Houma.
