Imagecoast blocking eccie?

Does anyone else seem to be experiencing Imagecoast blocking hotlinking from eccie?


Every time I try to post an image from there it doesn't work. Case in point:


Pic hosted on Imagecoast:




Same pic hosted on alternate image site (miragepics.com):




I pay for my Imagecoast usage, so that pisses me off if they are blocking it. Is anyone else who uses Imagecoast getting blocked?

I think they have a limit on per month useage. I’ve noticed my pics stop showing up after a certain number of inserts into ads, etc. Especially when touring, and I’m posting more ads than usual. I would be annoyed if I were paying for it. I only have a free account... But it’s still an upset!!

That guy looks oddly familiar.

It's a common meme that's all over the place, if you do a reverse image search on it. I think the meme is called "fat basement dweller," or something like that. I guess it's not impossible that you could have come across someone with a resemblance, as many guys as you've met! Hopefully if you did meet a doppelganger he was more pleasant than this fellow appears to be.

I don't think it's a bandwidth issue - I've hardly used it at all in months, and according to their stats I have plenty left.

Well, it's working for me right now (as in, I see both images and they look identical; of course YMMV depending on who you are and when you're looking at this thread).

Just another data point for you to figure out what may be going on.

Now that's odd...I was reading on my phone when you posted that, and both images showed. Even now, when I look at the thread on my PC, only the second image shows. Some kind of weird caching issue, I'd guess. Even a hard refresh and browser restart doesn't clear it up. Most peculiar.

I was confused too. Both images showed up on my phone in the first post.
