then why write anything at all? For me this is rude behaviour, no matter if i am long winded. I`d see that as mobbing too. And that coming from people who cry wolf about my behaviour is what i call the pot calling the kettle black.

I get warnings because i hijack threads and because i am rude and i think that some other people would deserve warnings too. If my behaviour gets judged then somebody elses would have to be judged too? That is what i don`t get with these warning stuff. I see that i deserve them, that is not the point, but i don`t see other people getting them for doing the exact same thing i do? Which is being chasticing and attacking others?
I can only speak for myself, so I will do so. I agree with atl to make your point briefly. Whether you mean to or not, your long posts come across as didactic and condescending. That may be part of the reaction you are getting. And, if you think you are more intelligent or knowledgeable than those on the board (which may be the case since you see yourself as "leading a discussion"), you are wrong on this point. The members of this board tend to be extremely smart, knowledgeable, well traveled and well rounded (well, those of us who are liberals are LOL).

Just sayin'.

Ok then i try to be more brief.

i do not pblige to be called condescending, that is far off my character.
I also never stated that i am more knowledgeable than anyone, that was someone else (you confuse me :-)..) unlike some people i even am very capable of admitting of being wrong or having not enough information. I think this must even be visible for you , although you don`t like me :-) (lol). And i at least try not to judge people with one - liners and read threads before i post something completely out of line. I , on the other hand find one-line judgements condescending.
Neither will i post that someone (or somefew) is a racist or a bigot without providing proper explanation. I at least have the guts to reap what i saw.

That is something you have to at least acknowledge that i am capable of making statements when someone calls me out for something. Just "taking a crap" and then leaving when its about time to flush the toilet is in my opinion much more condescending. I am rude at times that is true, but i at least own my behaviour, take the credits, explain and apologize where its necessary. And i admit when (for example in the Jesus thing) i did not have enough information for making a qualified statement. so ??

I`d admit to being rude and out of line at times, but condescending is far off my character. :-) Sorry, i don`t oblige :-)) your arguments have not convinced me . If condescending is your point, there are others who fall into that category better than me who don`t get warnings. Although i am thankful for your input and taking the time to think about it. That is something i value a lot in you, even though we have our differences. I value the efforts you make and trying to be helpful.

(lol)

You can go ahead and speak for me too. I also felt that some of the subject matter didn't belong on this board.

I think many people on this board including myself, have said stupid and hurtful things a time or two. I also find those who lack a sense of humor and can't ever admit to being wrong, are just not worth the effort of looking any further.

I like people who make sense and have a valid point, but can also laugh and appreciate a good joke or jab. People who do nothing but talk about facts and logistics all day long without any entertainment to go with it, bore the living hell out of me. I like down to earth people, not ones who have to dissect every darn thing.

Those who are easily offended may need to find another line of work because it comes with the territory. If I had a dime for every time someone said something offensive, I would have already retired from the abundance of wealth lol.

I think we also need to remember that it is not another person's fault if we are offended. They can't force you to feel anything if you make your mind up not to be offended. It's up to us to simply say to hell with it, and move on or post something back.

well said. ANd i like people who also can take themselves with humour. I personally have no problem with people offending me, because i can handle it. Handling difficult situations is my job. It comes with the description. I prefer difficult but interesting people. I consider myself to be a difficult but highly interesting person. There are people out there who go along well with a lot of people but most of them are boring too. I pefer the edgy people and they most of the times are difficult. It comes with the territory of living outside the norm of society.

Most escorts live the security of a double life where never the twain shall meet. I am a political activist - i don`t lie, i don`t let people make me feel ashamed for being who i am, so i have to hide it and be offended for doing a great job as an escort. Being difficult comes with the territory. I wrote my thesis about polyamory. I will write my PHD about escorts. So - i am sorry if an escort is offended by me. Deeply sorry. But i also get offended plenty because i am honest.

So i have learned to be a rude simply to defend myself more effectful so people leave me alone, rather than attacking me. That comes with the territory of living in a world where being honest about escorting AND having more than one lover is a REAL drag. If i were offended THAT easy, dear lord....I think i would be in mental hospital right now :-)) ......You can only slightly imagine what i had to hear about me being who i am.

So , i am sorry for being a rude bitch at times when i deliver the message i want to deliver. How many times do i have to apologize now??

- But i can honestly swear i am not a hypocrite at least. :-)...

I am like you, I too like people who are somewhat intellectual, deep thinkers, with a hint of "edginess", put in some humour and mix a little open mindness and "voila"!
