Default Have rates disappeared from the Showcases?

I can't see any on the dozen or so I checked. My premium access is good until June (I checked) and I can see the ROS on reviews. What's going on?

I just checked mine on a friend's computer as a non-member, and while it comes up, yep, the sections regarding rates and specials are missing! What's up? Has the latest legal case pertaining to escorts.com, as well as "dating sites" making the news as places for "sexual soliciting," influenced the owners to remove ALL references to the exchange of money?

ECCIE is currently going through the process of some software maintenance and upgrades that necessitated taking down that part of the showcases. Please bear with us as we are working to make things better for everyone.

In the meantime, please refer people to your website, P411, DateCheck, ect, account for your rates.

Again, our apologies, but we believe that everyone will be most happy with the changes.

MJ & CZ's efforts are appreciated, but it's obvious that even the moderators weren't informed that a sw update that would effect the site's performance was coming. An owner who actually valued their customers (and moderators) might consider doing something like this:
  1. Inform those affected BEFORE the update so alternate arrangements can be made.
  2. Provide updates as the sw revision is going on.
  3. Find a way to make it up to the membership for the inconvenience the lengthy update caused.

Whatever the update ultimately accomplishes, the uncaring attitude of the site owners, even toward their own moderators, is again abundantly clear, and so is the ineptitude of their IT team.

While I see no need to bash the owners or the IT team, I do agree that it would be good (and pretty standard) practice to inform the site users of planned maintenance/outages, what will be affected, and for how long.

A good start would be an expected date for when this set of maintenance/updates will be completed and regular showcase operation restored.
