Yes I realize we already knew pay pal was dangerous for us to use but this is step too far. The things mentioned in that article reminds me of some behavior I see here.

Yet another reason not to use paypal in the hobby. Strange that they would target ASMRtists with no sexual content and used mostly for stress reduction and insomnia.

Although there is a whole genre of sexual ASMR on pornhub and the like. Interesting stuff, and a good alternative to all the hyper-IOP in most porn.

Company can do what they want, why risk getting sued or prosecuted. Also cash is easier to get out of paying uncle Sam than pay pal. I imagine after so much they have to report to the irs.

Any money service like Cashapp, Venmo, PayPal and etc is subjected to being frozen if they find out you are a lady of the night.

During the E blackout, many ladies reported having issues with Venmo and other cash apps. Some banks have even gone to the extreme of closing out accounts of pornstar for being "too high risk". There was girl on Twitter requesting her clients to not leave any notes about their business.

Gents, I wouldn't be shocked if they did this to us as well as a way to control or curb the demand side as well.

I use cash app and venmo and paypal with no issues. However ive had 2 accounts well 3 seized by the gov A netspend prepaid card in jan, then my checking and savings account thru varo bank. In appealing. I was told the n.s. accoubt was shut by their parent bank metabank. For violating their morals clause .. In june my other accoubts were seized and they straight up said im flagged as a sex worker and all funds under the sesta act are open to confiscation......

Be very careful taking money through Paypal, even if you have a normal business. Google "paypal seizure, paypal problems," etc. for horror stories.



Paypal has always had a reputation for capriciously freezing accounts and seizing funds, even for normal, non-sexual, legal activities.


They are also bad about reversing payments after the fact and unexpectedly draining your bank account. Even months after the funds were transferred. Many people don't know that many automatic deposit or electronic transfers can be reversed, even months later.



If you use paypal, be sure to quickly drain most of your paypal money into a bank account at a separate bank from your main bank. Then you should regularly drain the account from that bank into another bank. I wouldn't even use separate accounts at the same bank.



I'd do the bank transfers via paper check or maybe even cash. I'm not sure whether Bank A might reverse transfers to Bank B. Probably overkill on the last bit, but this country is getting fucking crazy the past few decades.

The best way to use a PayPal account for our little corner of the world is to tie a NetSpend card to it in your "Wallet" in the site. Once you receive your funds into your account, you can transfer it to your NetSpend card instantaneously and then go to the ATM and pull the cash out.

Yes, you'll pay an ATM fee, but you'll have cash in hand. PayPal can't come back and reverse a charge if the cash is already in your hand.
