The original choices were "dumb & hot" or "average & smart". Dumb makes me want to stab my hand with a fork, especially when they are dumb AND uninteresting. I'd pick smart & average between the two choices, that's the provider that will figure out how you tick, and probably both will end up with a better experience. Maybe "some" or "most" men don't care, but that's what backpage is for. I think the rest tend to congregate here, or at least that's the impression I get.

Intelligence is the ultimate aphrodesiac. I'm not expecting a relationship but if I can't talk to a woman and get some idea who she is (even if its just her 'work persona'), I cant get interested enough to really enjoy the experience as a 'GFE'. Especially if she seems just plain vapid, dense, willfully ignorant... I don't want to just use a woman as a masturbation tool, somebody has to be home. Ultimatiely Im not there to talk for an hour or whatever, but some conversation and appreciation of the human being I am about to have an enjoyable experience with is necessary. You're stereotypical Hollywood 'hot' does seem to go hand in hand with dumb as a rock doesn't it? I think mostly because when a woman thinks all she has to be is that plastic ideal she doesn't have to try any harder to have any more substance, and your typical barbarian guy will be content with her just lying there thinking about painting the ceiling beige. Even if we aren't going to be getting philosophical, seeing that spark in a ladys eye, wondering what she's really thinking, coupled with a friendly outgoing attitude and eagerness to please bumps her up a couple 'points' on the ol 1-10 scale instantly. Beauty is as beauty does.

SNL I know you have to be as surprised as I am that some hobbiest are interested in the intellect of a provider even a little more so than the aesthetics. All the same most will go for beauty over brains.
I can't be too hard on the guys though. I once had a "special friend" who was dumb as a box of rocks. However, he was great in bed and supernova hot... until he would open his mouth to speak.

I will take average and smart any day of the week over hot and dumb. The girl next door look gets lots of play with me. As a lot of the ladies, I would take average looks with a sexy mind over a hot body and dumb as a shoe.
Also, I need somewhat of a mental connection with a lady I see and dumb women no matter their looks don't do it for me.

I would take "smart and average" any day. But as huckleberry so eloquently said, the ladies I see are "smart and hot". Makes for excellent BCD times and stimulating conversation.
