You notice that all of YR's posts turn in rants because the truth hurts, for 8 years we heard nothing from Odumbo but it is Bush's fault

I'll bet if Trumpler did some positive stuff it would be reported as such. Like I said, there's no feedstock for positive stories about him. And if you're going to tell me that 90% of the media is "Left leaning" then I think you'd be wrong.

Even Fox busts his balls. And he uses them for background noise when he's scarfing down his morning bucket of KFC.

I have yet to see any Trump supporter physically attack anyone in the media, yet they scream like stuck pigs every time the President or we call them "fake news". But, they won't hesitate to blame incidents like this on us...

"NBC Ignores Own Reporter and Crew Assaulted By Antifa in Charlottesville"

https://www.newsbusters.org/blogs/nb...saulted-antifa

They deserve to be called #FAKENEWS!!!

And, yes, they are the enemy of the people when they lie. Which is most of the time these days.

You have a remedy. Sue them for libel. There are laws pertaining to that.

Rather than mewl and whine, use the power of America to demand the truth.

By law, the media is accountable for its actions ... the real media that is. The source you cite is neither real nor accountable.

The White House honors no such code of law or ethics either, btw.

Exactly. Time and time again, i see stories of some liberal physically assaulting a Trump supporter, in some manner. Even if it's just crowding them into a corner while shouting in their ear.

YET all we see from the media is "how violent the right is"..?!??!

i'm shocked not to see my hometown rag, the Courier-Journal on the list. when the Bingham family owned it, it was a Pulitzer prize winning paper. now it's a Gannett owned rag barely thicker than the Greensheet lol. and less actual content too. hahahhaaa

money ruined the C-J as we nicknamed it. Sallie Bingham wanted a stack of cash from her Dad, Barry Sr. and the bickering over it got to the point where he sold it off.

Sallie Bingham has long been a liberal mouthpiece yet she lives in Prospect on Wolf Pen Branch Road. not quite Park Avenue but you'll need a large stack of cash to buy a house in that area.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sallie_Bingham

here's a great article by the NY Times from 1986. note the intentional Edgar Allan Poe reference in the title.

https://www.nytimes.com/1986/01/19/b...f-bingham.html

THE FALL OF THE HOUSE OF BINGHAM

a few quotes to set the tone ..

"The decision to sell was a shock, but not a surprise. For two years the staff had watched as the Binghams warred with each other over the family holdings. Finally, in desperation, Barry Bingham Sr., the 79-year-old patriarch, decided to sell, hoping that his decision would somehow bring a semblance of peace to the family."

"For the proud Binghams - a clan of southern patricians who are often compared to the Kennedys because they share a history of tragic death and enormous wealth - the pain of selling was redoubled because it may have been avoidable. It is not financial duress forcing the sale, but implaccable family strife, as ancient as the struggle between Cain and Abel."

While the Louisville Times was dropped in the 70's (the afternoon edition) due to lagging readership, the C-J remained both popular and profitable.

Their holdings were more than just the Courier-Journal. they owned WHAS-TV (ABC affiliate) and Standard Gravure (printer of the papers).

https://www.whas11.com/

this isn't Sallie's mansion in Prospect or her property in Sante Fe, NM. it's the original Bingham Estate owned by Judge Robert Worth Bingham, Barry Sr's father and grandfather to Sallie, Barry Jr and Eleanor Bingham.

the Estate was sold in 2014. doesn't say how much but it was listed for 3.3 million and had several interested buyers. immediately.

interesting history on that bingham family paper.

too bad family problems interfered. shoulda known better.

the owner should have put his paper in a trust. I think that is how the Newhouse family does it (they own the Times Picayune in New Orleans, LA and another paper in Massachusetts)

I am proud that newspapers in the city in which I grew up, the city I worked after graduation and the city in which I've raised my family ALL are on the list.

Fascinating story on the Bingham family. Thanks for sharing.
