Default $11 per gallon gasoline possible, based on prediction from major bank

“Global oil prices could reach a ‘stratospheric’ $380 a barrel if US and European penalties prompt Russia to inflict retaliatory crude-output cuts, JPMorgan Chase & Co. analysts warned.” If that’s true, gas prices at the pump could rise by over $6 per gallon, to over $11 per gallon.

How are you Beijing Biden supporters gonna feel then? How about all you jingoistic fools cheering on a war in Ukraine?

Let’s hope that doesn’t become a reality. Gasoline I care about, it’s all the other things that rise exponentially with the cost of a bbl of oil

A Tesla will not remedy the problem. If everyone had a Tesla this country would be in a world of hurt.

True.
Ain't too worried about it.
Contrary to what others post, we are energy independent if we so choose.

And this would be a great time to finally ditch all the old great-great-great grandfather claused energy plants and build much more efficient ones that are, god forbid me saying it, "green."

Great time to make coal clean if we pull the trigger.

if you read my fake climate change articles (3 of them in one thread), it shows how stupid this policy is.

doesn't matter if Tesla gonna save the day. EVs is going to get more expensive. that goes for ICEV as well.

I do not think there is an unlimited supply of lithium. mining & processing it is very messy and polluting.

Electricity to charge an EV doesn’t come from unicorn farts, it’s primarily generated by burning coal and/or natural gas. It’s called the rule of conservation of energy, which the “buy a Tesla” crowd obviously missed in 4th grade. Then there’s that pesky thing called loss, without which we could build a perpetual motion machine and never worry about energy again. Given loss that occurs between the point of generation and your tires hitting the pavement, it’d be more “green” to drive a car that burns coal.

... Lemme say this... IF petrol-gas prices reach $6.90
- Biden will have TRIPLED the price in Western PA
since Trump was on...

Very germane to this post Salty, let’s hope Biden actually does something to alleviate that scenario, I am somewhat skeptical that will ever happen under 99.99999 %of current libs

That's the eventual plan. I wonder how much help "The Government" will assist citizens in the transition from Gas to Electric.

Put your money in oil stocks and don't be a winey bitch about the prices. Someone is getting rich off of this.

Only fools are trumpfucktards that give him money to continue his lies about the election.

Nobody is cheering on the war except the happy military suppliers, mostly republicans.
