I know what you are saying Hobby. One reason I can think of for the mods wanting to enforce use of review template is that it allows the all-important ROS to be shielded from non-Premium Access (PA) members. This is a practice with which I never agreed, since it kind of defeats the purpose of using this site to gather info about what providers to see or not; so that you can then write a review, so that you can gain PA, so that you can then see the ROS, so that you know who to see ...
It is a whole "chicken-and-egg" cycle that baffles me to this day!
