Is ECCIE the new backpage?!

Regardless of who likes it or doesn't like it, bkpg is a different class of provider/client. Are there exceptions to the rule? Yep. Sure. Everywhere you look.

My personal dislike of bkpg is stemmed from the solicitations from pimps, young kids, and hobbyist who never plan on booking an appointment and are only interested in chatting up providers and general time wasting.

The economy has more and more women coming into the hobby because of financial need to do so. Most of these women lack the finesse that a provider who is here by choice will bring to the table because they do not actually enjoy the job. Therefore, they don't want to do the job and they look for a way to get the money without actually working for it. Here is where the scammer is born. So where would a scam artist with financial problems and no prior hobby knowledge go?! BACKPAGE.

Usually scammers/low quality providers will find a home with backpage and settle comfortably. Lately, however, that is not the case. They are expanding advertising methods and attempting to climb the social hobby ladder. Birds of a feather and so on.... They bring management and seedy business partners with illusions of grandeur and before you know it you're being solicited by a Diva magazine.

Again, let me clarify for a few who may have their feelings on their sleeve. I am speaking in general. I am not targeting anyone in specific nor am I suggesting that bkpg is not a valuable advertising/research method. I am referring to the influx of unsavory ECCIE members that I've noticed lately.

I've seen some pretty bad ass girls (in a good way) that started out advertising from PB. I have never set an appointment with anyone from a backpage ad but some of them have to start somewhere. No doubt there does seem to be more problems that come from backpage than Eccie or P411. But to paraphrase a quote from another member, there is no zero risk.

And BTW Ginger, you and Brit don't need a lot of help to look good and be appreciated. You're already Top Tier!

I have met a few girls like this, and it frustrates me to no end. There is currently one in my area who I have personally seen with 4 different managers since I have met her (one time there was two men with her, both looking dumb) and she has been accused of stealing pics from a well reviewed provider. She asks me how to help her 'do things' on here but I have been leery to help much, for fear of having my name associated with her should she happen to fu@k up.

I also can't stand girls who are about the quick buck and don't have the safety of other providers and hobbyists in mind. I don't mind helping, but from my experience with this young lady, I'm just going to get used and dumped, for lack of a better phrase. I don't seem to hear from her unless she needs something and then it's on her terms or nothing, no matter how much energy I have previously put into making her feel comfortable in my area. And as you mentioned, MrHappy, the intelligent conversation is just as necessary as the wonderful BCD events in order for everything to flow smoothly and for both parties to enjoy the experience.

My thought: how do we as providers react when we know bp riffraff are trying to infiltrate our wonderful little community here? I can't even recall the number of providers who have asked me for help. We all know the gentlemen can (should they choose to do so) do a lot of research and find the perfect experience for himself, but we as providers here have vowed, more or less, to help other providers stay safe and to provide/receive references. Am I therefore obligated to help a questionable provider? It seems several of the ladies I extend the olive branch to end up on here with no one the wiser as to their personal antics. I have yet to meet IN PERSON save 1 provider who doesn't have management or use hard dope (usually both at the same time)... Where do I draw the line and not feel bad for doing so?

Not true, Makayla... We've met... Just not while on the job & I'm in neither of those categories, lol... But i completely agree. I used to give info & help but after doing so and learning who the people actually are... I quit because I didn't want people to think I could be classified in the same category as them. Which is not a good look...
I like to think I've made a pretty good name for myself (which I'm one of the ones who uses BP) & would hate for one wrong person/female... That i probably wouldn't be "friends"with to begin... To come a long and change that. Now, I just prefer to keep to myself. Less drama & worries that way
