Default A Big Win for Biden, House of Reps passes Bi-Partisan Infrastructure Bille

The bi-partisan infrastructure bill that sleepy Joe worked out with Senator Mitch "the turtle" McConnell finally gets passed in the house of reps. The 3 trillion spending bill will be scored by the CBO and may get passed before Thanksgiving. Go sleepy Joe!

What's the matter? You don't want better roads, bridges, mass transit and broadband where there isn't any.

With $1400 stimulus checks some people bought a 65 inch 4K television with plenty of megapixels.

Mic drop right there...

That's what people who want government handouts think - what's in it for me/us? They'd rather have the money go to them so they can sit on their lazy asses instead of getting a better job and would prefer to have people like me pay extra in taxes to let them do so because they can blow money on bullshit that I'm paying for. Hell, I should be asking, "what's in it for us?" I don't get shit other than higher taxes. What's in it for me that I paid for a bunch of TVs for people I don't even know? LOL

".....bipartisan infrastructure bill, 228-206, fulfilling a major priority for President Biden's domestic agenda and cementing a political victory for Democrats.

The measure includes significant investments in roads, bridges, railways and broadband internet.

It passed late Friday night largely along party lines, with 13 Republicans joining 215 Democrats in support of the legislation.
The Senate has to pass it now!

Roads and bridges? I’ve heard that one before. Remember all those “shovel ready” jobs that weren’t?

I think McDingdong is employed. He is educated. He said he was a TA (teaching assistant for General Chemistry) at his state university. If you get paid by W2 your taxes come out automatically (regardless of income level). You being a IVY leaguer knew that right? The point is people who are making at least $20,000 are paying taxes (maybe not as much as you). Warren Buffet's secretary paid more in taxes (percentage wise) than Warren Buffet. Even though he has been passed by Bezos, Gates and the Testla Guy, Buffet is still in top 8 on the fortune 500 list.

Republican Senator Mitch "the turtle" McConnell worked on that infrastructure bill with Sleepy Joe. Blame McConnell,he is from your party numbnuts.

If Trump had cut this deal you would not be crying about it. It was TRUMP who wanted the $2,000 dollar stimulus checks to go out in the first place. Senator McConnell (from Kentucly) who was head of the Senate at the time would only let $600 go out. Trump could not even control McConnell.

It's not whether its Big Gov or Small Gov its government that works effectively!

Your hero Trump didn't do anything. Trump mismanaged a pandemic, his GDP numbers are the same as Obama's and he increased the deficit back to a Trillion dollars.

Again LL you are out of touch with reality. The 1.75 Trillion dollar infrastructure bill was already passed by the Senate in August 2021. It was right there in the link if only you took the time to read it. You have 49,000 posts and you still do not know what you are talking about!!!!!

From the link in post #1.

The legislation passed the Senate in August, but was stalled in the House as Democrats tried to negotiate a deal on a separate $1.9 trillion economic package, another key component of Biden's agenda that many Democrats had tied to the fate of the infrastructure bill.

Go take your meds and go back to sleep.
