And I am one of those 44,000. Last time in I had my blood drawn. I would love to know if I recieved the actual vaccine or the placebo. 90% effective rate would be beyond outstanding. Flu vaccines usually have around a 60% effective rate.

The timeline is about what doctors have been estimating -- available in limited amounts late this year/early next year. Available for everyone by the end of the first half by June 2021.

Like I've said in a previous post, something is better than nothing. Just because some people don't like who is about to be our new president, they should not be looking past the big picture of having something rather than nothing for a vaccine to keep people less at risk from a deadly virus. Whether it is 90% or 50% is irrelevant to me. At least it will help the elderly and other high risk people so it's it's a step forward.
