So I'm thinking of making a quick trip to Austin and I was hoping I could get some insight and/or any recommendations on the best areas to host in?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Domain, and either Crowne Plaza or Double Tree near I35 and 290 East. Avoid anything North of the Double Tree or on the South bound side of I35 in that area.

NO vagina triangle...which is 290 and 35. Crown plaza is the hottest, as in police all the time no matter how many conferences they host their...she will stick out like a sore thumb, if those photos are not photoshopped.....

Stick to domain/arboretum...but tend to get full so make sure that you make and extended location.
But south is good, I know a few hotels that are john friendly...just havent made my way there yet.

I agree with the Domain and Arboretum area suggestions, nice hotels, no sketchy areas.

Downtown is a hassle with traffic and parking.
