Default $$ Biden money - not exactly $$

Despite a long thread in the political forum about Biden money (without evidence, for which everyone is supposed to wait for), the truth comes out:

"Alexander Smirov, the informant accused of fabricating a story about President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden taking $5 million each in bribes allegedly had high-level Russian intelligence contacts, according to newly filed court documents.

In the filing Tuesday, special counsel David Weiss revealed that after his arrest last week, Alexander Smirnov told the FBI "that officials with Russian intelligence were involved in passing a story" about Hunter Biden.

Prosecutors argued in their filing Smirnov should be held pending trial, with Weiss saying that Smirnov claims that he has active contacts with "multiple foreign intelligence agencies" and that he had planned to leave the U.S. just two days after his arrival last week "for a months-long, multi-country foreign trip."

Furthermore, "Smirnov's efforts to spread misinformation about a candidate of one of the two major parties in the United States continues," the filing states. "What this shows is that the misinformation he is spreading is not confined to 2020. He is actively peddling new lies that could impact U.S. elections after meeting with Russian intelligence officials in November. In light of that fact there is a serious risk he will flee in order to avoid accountability for his actions."

Who is backpedaling again? If anyone has egg on their face, it's the FBI. This guy Chernov was a highly paid informant for the last 14 years and was regarded as "highly credible" by the FBI and Jamie Raskin. What changed?

The FBI warned Comer and Grassley the report was not reliable and they pushed it anyway. Politics over good sense as usual from the Republicans. Now they are scrambling to find a way to not look stupid, which is unavoidable. Figures though, republicans have shown they are the dumbest most gullible idiots there are, including the majority of them on this site.

If anyone has egg on their face, it is Rep. Comer.

His Kentucky business activities are the ones that need to be investigated:

- made huge money in land near highway construction
- friendly contractor made enormous donations
- side companies that received the money are in Comer/s wifes name

Just do a search here for biden, fbi, bursa (sp), crime family. Give you a list of backpedalers.

The people with egg on their face (backpedalers) are all those donny lovers on the Hill who used their position to get a peek on what the FBI was doing and started to pee in their pants with anticipation of getting the goods on Joey without waiting for the FBI to finish their business and hand over report(s) to justice department to further things along.

That's what they get for leaking shit.

... Smirnov was the FBI/DOJ's witness - NOT the GOP's.
And there are A LOT more... I don't reckon they are all lying.

Really, Salty.....

Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., the top Democrat on the Oversight Committee, said Wednesday that the “impeachment investigation essentially ended yesterday, in substance if not in form, with the explosive revelation” that Russia fed information to Smirnov.

“It appears like the whole thing is not only, obviously, false and fraudulent, but a product of Russian disinformation and propaganda,” Raskin said. “And that’s been the motor force behind this investigation for more than a year.”

... Is that the same Jamie Raskin who outright lied about
Tony Bobulinski's testimony? ... I believe it is, yes?

That's well-off, as Bobulinski's own barrister is onto
Raskin for doing that.

... But no matter, as far as the not-exactly $$ Biden money $$ goes.
Corruption and money-laundering charges will be coming next year.

The republican congress is great at making accusations and smearing good public servants. It’s a replacement for actual governance.

Have you ever heard of Murphy's Law? If it can happen it will. Don't count on it.

Now Rep. Comer tries a new tactic.

"The FBI paid Smirnov to be a spy in Russia," he began. "The FBI indicted him because he was communicating with Russia! But that's what they paid him for over 10 years to do!"

The United States Department of Justice did not indict him for communicating with Russia. Rather, the DOJ alleges that he lied to investigators about the Bidens and that, as an aside, the source of those lies was allegedly individuals with ties to Russian intelligence agencies.
