Why is it so difficult for people to accept that HIV is caused by a virus where the most common form of transmission is through the exchange of bodily fluids.

If you are HIV positive, and do not take advantage of the drug therapies available, you will in all likely hood develop AIDS, and die from some innocuous infection that a normal immune system would fight off.

Go to the Wikipedia entry for "House of Cards." The person they said didn't develop AIDS that was the subject of the vid, died of AIDS. The film producers said he died in the end credits but not because of AIDS related causes. They lied. Their whole hypothesis that they built the film around is discredited.
