Here is what the sticky “Political Forum Rules” at the top of this forum tells us:

None of the “big forbidden topics” were brought up in the above closed thread. If insults and ridicule – in good taste or poor, provoked or unprovoked - are now verboten in this Forum, there are literally HUNDREDS of Political Forum posts that I am prepared to bring to the attention of the mods. I rarely hit the RTM button. I don't want to make unnecessary work for the eccie moderating staff. However, if such behavior (hitting the RTM button) is now encouraged and rewarded in the Political Forum, I'll change my habits.

Has the Wild, Wild West been pussified?

The Wacko Kidd yeah that's what I called him deliberately went out of his way to create a thread that had nothing to do with politics but merely to insult me. I even told him that I was RTM the MODs because it was harrassment and what did he do- he piled on and thereby got banned.
I have NEVER created a thread with the sole purpose of bashing anyone - names are being called back in forth within a thread but Wacko Kidd created a thread that was not political so don't you even dare compare the two.

I am allowed to comment on reviews that are not 30 days - everyone who commented on that review except the person who created the review basically was saying it was fake and or fishy - their words paraphrased - even a MOD commented on that thread that it seemed fishty. So nice trice R.M I violated know rules because your fake review isn't even 30 days old .

This forum has gotten out of hand in many instances. No where in that sticky are the forum guidelines that govern the board being superseded. If anyone is pointed or banned it is based on these guidelines

I suggest that everyone that post in this section regularly, read and fully comprehend what is being said here in this post.

Everyone is free to RTM any post that they feel may have crossed the line, each is viewed on its on merit and decisions are based on the above posted link

I do agree that it has gotten way too relaxed and personal- I don't mind personal jabs when discussing topics, but people have gone way, way too far and just immediately attack you for entertainment and harassment. It's quite laughable that the OP would even open his mouth when he is one of the culprits who constantly likes to call people derogatory names and honestly think the word "Faggot" should be forbidden in ECCIE period- it's a slanderous word, but for some reason it's allowed to be used in this forum without reprimand.

#1 - Avoid cases of unprovoked rudeness to others. No place for it here. Yes, with the dynamic nature of the threads and topics, tempers will flare and things will become heated from time to time. You may often encounter individuals who become passionate or emotional when expressing one's opinion or point of view. That's all understood and perfectly acceptable within reason…….but, start slamming or bashing another member and be met with consequences.

#2 - Derogatory racial remarks are simply unacceptable, period. Disrespect another's ethnic background and you will most certainly regret it.

#3 - Disrespect to others, IN GENERAL, will be considered an item of low tolerance, especially when posting in our coed forums. Follow the Golden Rule and treat others as you wish to be treated yourself. This applies to fellow members as well as staff. We do not require that you have respect for us, but we do require that you treat us respectfully in the public forums. If you feel the need to vent, gripe, or blow off some steam regarding a staff member's action or decision, we ask that you keep it private. Email, RTM, or the PM system would be the appropriate avenue to take in such cases. In cases where you would like to request additional clarity about a staff decision, you are free to pursue an answer in either a public forum or private means of communication. If handled publicly, post your inquiry in a respectful manner.

#4 - Blatant insults or hostility toward another member will be met with staff intervention. This applies to using our coed forums for name calling, personal attacks, or vulgar slang terms to describe fellow members. If you have legitimate concerns about another member here, share them tactfully in the appropriate private forums or with staff

Just examples. And that post by Chica was being lenient on post in this section. But, like most things it only takes a few people to screw things up....dont make your own rules. Follow the board rules

Stop babbling like an idiot. I don't act like a saint. Never did, never will. Just the opposite. I come to this forum precisely because it's the one place I can hurl insults and NOT be polite. I understand and accept the forum rules. I don't run off to the mods every 5 minutes like a melting snowflake. I know how to fight back, ignore or stay away. If insulting posters like you – who make up preposterous stories that invite and deserve ridicule from all sides – is against the rules, then we may as well shut the entire forum down.

The way to cure Fat Bastard is for everyone to start hitting the RTM any time he posts something nasty. That will keep the mods busy. I will hit it till it breaks. He wants to run around like a bitch and thinks the rules do not apply to his fat ass.
