The Texas Taliban strikes again. Abbott, Patrick and Paxton are no different than the mullahs in Tehran. They claim to care about liberty and freedom, and then work to take your rights away. Vote them out.

Not sure what everyone in TX is complaining about. Felony prostitution arrests, and can't watch porn. You get the government you deserve. In fact, just take a gander at the sandbox or political threads and this appears to be what many on here want.

you are correct. for state office, it would take a miracle for a Dem to win.
but the statehouse has been sorta bullying the blue cities, which is not very nice imo.

I must have mistakenly thought that we weren't supposed to discuss politics in the Houston forums. Was there a change in the rules? If so, I can start up again with my complete and total dislike and distrust of brandon. Just let me know what the rules are and that we all have to follow them.

i don't think it was intentional, but when a pornsite shuts down in a whole state, then the next question is, woah how did that happen? i guessed the statehouse and the governor, but when i researched it, found out it was the Attorney General. so i think the thread kind of fell into politics rather than someone intentionally starting a political thread. and you are correct on the rules. now political threads are only allowed in the Political Forum, which i gave up on because the moderating was silly. if a new mod runs that forum, i'd try again.

it's only a branch of Christian Republicans who want to replace democracy with a theocracy. i haven't done a deep dive research on it, but i'm pretty sure the House Speaker (federal) is a theocrat.
