sad but true

This is what the leadership in the Republican party wants. They want you to be scared. Of liberals, immigrants etc. etc. That way you will vote for them because you know, they have the "solution" to all your problems.

It's because conservative lawmakers, journalists, and MAGA hat wearers have been verbally and physically assaulted simply for being conservative. It's not a mentality. It's a reality brought about by TDS.

The most common words I heard Obama in reference to Obama were Savior and Leader from Behind.

Filbone I have a picture of Obama in my office to this day. 90% of the people I do business with are not Obama fans. I took 10 kinds of heat for 8 fucking years. But at NO POINT was I scared to have a bumper sticker, wear a shirt, put up a sign or hang a picture in my office. I wore a Cowboy jersey to a Philadelphia Eagles game , in Philly once. I got jeered and cursed, flipped off and everything. But one thing I wasn't was scared. Hell Trump voters lurk in the shadows even on Exit polling. After seeing Trumps performance in Helsinki it makes me think that Trump voters are weak

I was personally happy to have the black President, thinking it would negate the near constant complaining about discrimination and demands for greater and greater redress, but it only served to stoke the movement, so it accomplished nothing.

Sad.

If you are using Gays in the pejorative sense that is impermissible under the new rules, as I understand them....until they tire of bothering with it...which I predict is months away

I agree it did not unite us racially. Problem is historically people have done better as separate but equal. When you try to throw everyone into one big pile it doesn't work. Eventually the piles separate and everyone ends up where they are supposed to

Are you not able to tell the difference between a compliment and a cutdown?

I agree. The problem arises when a particular group garners "victim status" and sinks into the pit of permanent victimhood, depending on scraps from the Government for their very existence.

The best example of this in America is our Black Community. Just when the Country was coming to grips with it's wrongs of the past, the Democrat Party decided to heard them into Government Ghettos, destroy the very fabric of their Familly and social structure, and promise to take care of them in exchange for one thing.

Their vote.

Many Blacks are now climbing out of this pit of disparity. But it is an uphill battle. Not because of the prejudishes of others, but because of a certain political phylosophy that needs to keep them in the chains of victimhood.

It's called the Democratic Plantation. Beto would love to run it.

Trump and his base have the biggest Victim mentality I've ever seen from any American political party. Everything is a big blame someone for our problems. Its the Mexicans, Chinese, witch hunt, The Fed, etc., etc.

Unfortunately, Beto might get to run the country. Him losing to Cruz might have made him President, if his luck holds.
