Default govt shut down - missing anything ?

Some of the government is shut down, although hard to determine how much.

Have you seen a lapse in any government service you were receiving ? Only thing I am
missing is 1 government website used is not being maintained during the shut down.

Perhaps this is finally our chance to reduce the size of the government, and start returning some of the money to the taxpayers.

I'm sure there are people affected, but I haven't noticed anything.

The only thing that is shut down is the dead weight, the only thing that will suffer in the long run is the parks services

The shutdown prevents government agencies like TSA, ICE, Homeland security, coast guard, etc. from doing their jobs. Which will allow more illegals, drugs and terrorists to easily come in.

^^ Exactly!

There's going to be more of a security issue at a high rate..

Let's not forget about our food, there's going to be a lot of sick people running around, since its not going to be inspected..

I'm not understanding this at all!

What does our food have to do with a damn wall, or all of our abc agencies being out of a pay check?

To get a bill over a wall? Why do Americans have to suffer to get what he wants, even our Vets..

https://taskandpurpose-com.cdn.amppr...rans-paychecks

Please explain this someone

Isn't this what all the "no wall" people want?

As more of it shuts down that hurt will be real. Tsa will be decimated by this they already had staffing issues. Build that wall. Steal the money from hurricane and wildfire areas.

If the Democrats wanted, they could be negotiating with Trump now, but they don't want to do anything. Trump is using this to force them to do something but they won't budge.

I don't like Trump either, but the $$$ he wants could be used for part of the wall and the rest for other security measures to clean up the drug problem.

One of you fucktards previously said, "We get the government we deserve"
Sad but True.

Because, like trump, they got intel saying a wall wont fix anything. Drugs come thorough the boarder and under the wall they have already. What we need is better technology to inspect cars coming in better. Not a wall thats gonna make trumps friends richer

This is a very true statement. Rational people believe this, Trump Tards see it different. If all the TSA and Air Traffic Controllers call in sick each day, I bet this shutdown ends because it would cripple air travel.
