He didn't punch him before the coffee or go after him after he punched him. He was acting erratically and talking to himself before the attack.

The video is indeed clear! The black guy hit the white, gay guy in the side of the face which prompted the white, gay guy to throw the coffee. I see this hate crime in the Bronx as a hate crime in the Bronx because the perpetrator of the crime explicitly stated his animus toward whites!

His hatred of whites was the driving force behind his vicious assault.

His hatred of whites is aided and abetted by the leftists and their viscous anti-white rhetoric. The world view of the left promotes anti-white hatred as an indicator of virtue.

The intent of hate crime legislation is to deter crimes such as this one, which would not have occurred in absence of the demonstrated racial hatred of the perpetrator.
