Getting out of the Hobby....

You guys ever think about quitting the Hobby??!
I am seriously thinking about getting out... This whole thing just seems to get weirder and weirder... I have met some really great ladies and maybe that’s what is messing me up...

Anybody got out and then come back? Why did you get out? Why did you come back??

i haven't quit, but the hooker side of things holds no appeal for me right now. there's just no compelling talent in the 806, so i've been playing in greener pastures. it's hard to believe the market has dried up so much, but the recent crackdowns have made it even worse.

Most of the ladies we have had shared experiences with have said nice things about you. So I know it's not that you get your rocks off by some sort of misogynistic abuse or humiliation.

If that was the case then by all means you may need to stop and seek help.



If like most of us you are driven by an insatiable need for sexual pleasure and without it you are in a perpetual state of frustration, then good luck trying to quit. Like Blue said its probably not sustainable without constant therapy and incredible will power. This behavior is further complicated by the woman not demanding of anything emotional in return. In a way, the provider is soothing the psyche of that man. Biology meets the perfect psychology.



The thought I struggle with is being driven by a compulsive need for sex to the detriment of my real world life. Men driven by this compulsion can never get enough and frequent sexual partners. If you find yourself spending too much time in the chase, this website, communication with providers, researching and setting up meetings, looking at porn, spending money beyond your means ... etc. then maybe you may want to do something to change.


I try to find balance and be ever present to the pitfalls and risks. Manage your time and effort and enjoy what this site and the hobby brings.

Twain that was a very thoughtful response. The addiction might be the case for some guys but not me....by weirder I mean closer to reality....not a weird fetish, though I will try anything once or maybe twice if it is the right girl....

Honestly I see the struggle that a lot, not all, of the ladies go through and it weighs on me sometimes...
I hear about the assholes that come see them, the times they get NCNS, thereby wasting their time. I hear about when they get shorted or straight out robbed or scammed out of donations and it pisses me off...
I seem to have a big..... wait for it.... Heart... hahaha and sometimes that is a burden in this hobby but I can’t change that....

So that is why I am contemplating getting out...
The next traveling girl does not have the same appeal to me as she once did...

That is a very well stated comment and demonstrates a genuine concern for the ladies in this hobby. But a bad reason to leave, IMO, the ladies more great clients like you, not less.

I agree that the vast majority of the ladies I have met have been wonderful. But to summarize what others are saying above - this is messing with my head. More and more. It’s not sustainable as a way to live and relate to others. My days are definitely numbered.

They along with several others are the top of the top as far as I am concerned and I am happy to call them friends.
I don’t know if I will get out but I will surely slow down for a while...

Sometimes it is fun to just go wild but that is best served for San Antonio or Austin... hahaha
