I guess you are unaware that there was an election on November 6, 2018. Republicans lost big time. Mid-term elections are a grade on the POTUS and, like Obama in 2010, Trump got a failing grade.
Will Trump win in 2020? Too many unknowns to think about.

If mid terms are the judge of a President, , then President Trump won because to him, the Senate is much more important for his agenda.
Judging by who the Democrats voted in, the House is now just a joke.

Weeks prior to the election Trump, and most Trump supporters on this forum, predicted Republicans would hold onto the House in the mid-terms. At that time, I don't remember anyone putting a higher priority on the Senate than the House. It was only when Trump saw that winning the House was close to impossible that he put his focus 100% on the Senate.
