JOURNALIST DIES MONTHS AFTER RACIALLY MOTIVATED ATTACK

Jerry Wolkowitz, a freelance journalist and EMT, died on Thursday months after he was attacked for being a “white man.”

Wolkowitz, 56, was attacked in New Jersey on May 1 by 26-year-old Jamil S. Hubbard.

“[Wolkowitz] was punched in the head and then dragged into the parking lot before being run over by a Chevrolet Malibu. His blue Kia Forte was then stolen,” the Asbury Park Press reported.

Police found Wolkowitz with extensive head injuries and shattered bones.

Hubbard was originally charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and bias intimidation, and a grand jury later added armed robbery, eluding and theft.

Assistant Monmouth County Prosecutor Keri-Leigh Schaefer said Hubbard chose his victim because “he was a white man” and wanted to kill him because of his race.

Wolkowitz was a freelance journalist who contributed frequently to the Asbury Park Press and was the son of Holocaust survivors.

Your remark is not founded on reality. Both journalists were targeted because of who they were. The murders weren't random. It's true that neither murder had anything to do with the fact that they were journalist (a fact ignored by the talking-heads in the lame stream media), but what is also true is that each was targeted as being members of groups their killers disliked. One was a white man killed by a racist black man, and the other was a militant Islamic propagandist hated by those who were more moderate.

Another factoid the screaming hypocrites from the left wish to ignore is that only one of the two was actually an American citizen -- making the murder a domestic American concern. Meanwhile, the other murdered victim was a Saudi citizen, and the murder occurred on foreign soil making the murder a decidedly non-American concern.

Both involved journalists. ONE was a US citizen, and is getting NO AIR TIME. The other wasn't even a US citizen, and has been smashed all over the airwaves for 8+ days now..

Exactly. I'd be MORE CONCERNED about the former's killing, in an obvious hate crime, than i ever will about the latter.
