Default Oasis Baton Rouge - Busted

It looks like Oasis on Hollydale was busted. It's not a surprise as it was such a terrible location with tons of traffic. And I'm sure that those in the neighborhood knew what was going on and complained. Here is the article from WBRZ: https://www.wbrz.com/news/investigat...stitution-bust

except BR isn't #1 ... it's #5 based on a report released in nov. https://thesource.com/2019/11/19/top...es-in-the-u-s/..... that being said busting these places is a huge waste of time and resources UNLESS they start to go after every one of them. I suspect this one was singled out because of complaints by folks in that area and possible pressure from their metro council person. Hollydale is near the perkins rd overpass. I do laugh at statements like the one in quotes though. Can't police multi task? Can't they work on more than one type of crime at a time? If people are being honest with themselves and things rationaly they would understan that the job of the police isn't really to PREVENT crime, in this case murders. How exactly would they even do that? Their job is to respond to and solve crimes. Again busting these massage places is stoopid, a waste but screaming hyperbole about the murder rate in BR while talking about these busts is assinine IMO.

no, actually, police are there to prevent 99% of crime and to solve the 1% of crime that actually takes place. When you see a state trooper parked on side of the interstate, 100's of cars automatically slow down... state trooper didn't need to issue them speeding tickets.... troopers mere presence deterred the crime.... So, while cops are wasting time busting the HE places, those same cops could be making the block in drug infested hoods, possibly preventing a drug shooting where an errant bullet kills a little kid playing in the park... Police only exist to solve crimes.... now.... That's Asinine !!

Obviously need to legalize and regulate but that is long term. The short term solution is to recognize that most LEO are not interested in busting a place where the women are not under any duress and simply making a living. LEO are activated due to neighborhood complaints. So the challenge is on the AMP providers to locate in the least offensive manner. For example, like that place in Philly that is a door/elevator inside a working flower shop.

LOL you list traffic crimes as your 99%....... how about expaling how police can prevent murders that occur in homes, businesses, parks, out of the blue after an arguement? lets extend that to robberies and home incasions etc...Go we're waiting

killers don't hang out in their house 24/7.... many drug dealing thugs who may kill someone inside a home do venture out to buy cigs, beer, cookies...popeyes...etc.... so.... if police pull over a thug for driving with a busted taillight and no insurance.... and then see thug has 5 warrants out.... and throws this thug in jail... well then Mr.Sparky... this thug can't go back to a private home and kill someone..... But.... if that cop is wasting his time busting massage parlors... he never would've pulled the thug over with the busted taillight.... who then goes to some private home and kills a bunch of people in a drug deal... Connect the dots.

If these AMP's would station their business near a strip joint, they would do better.
Most strip joints are located in business developments, not shopping centers or neighborhoods.

Stick to the industrial areas, where the $$$ 's are.

Exactly my point above. It’s the neighborhood complaints that really shut them down. As for that bs about trafficking, all LEO need to do is send the under covers to simply ask the chicks if they are there involuntary and if they are, shut it down. If they are just making a living like 99% of all AMP chicks then leave them alone.

From the article: Investigators say a subsequent search of the business yielded $1,825 along with used and unused condoms, sexual lubricants, and lingerie.

Awww, dat's y'all ass now! Gonna get the DNA from the "used" condoms and match with that 23andMe.com site's database.
