Biden can't define 'good vbad" in a debate - his DPST handler keep him safely out of sight in the basement.
His comment is passe' to the LSM - but would be pounced on as awful rhetoric and racist for weeks is even hinted by Trump.
It is Truly his "Deplorables' moment - and elitist and racist ( any DPST's think there are no black folks in that group) statement by an elderly man with pre-senile dementia.
I think Biden's statement was perfectly reasonable.

I think you're intentionally missing the context which is dishonest. When Trump mentions bad people the press goes out of their way to define what Trump said and about who he said it about. In most cases, the press was wrong. Nothing like that with Biden from the press or you. So let's play a game, is Biden talking about Tea Party people who peacefully protest and clean up after themselves? Is Biden talking about owners of "assault" weapons that 99.9% you never hear about because they are committing no crimes or being in a position of having to defend themselves. Is Biden talking about members of the armed forces? The D.C. mayor doesn't want them in her town maybe Joe doesn't either.

I don't believe there are 50 million violent criminals in America. We would be in a helluva fix if that were true. If Biden was actually thinking when he said that and that's a big if, he probably got his number wrong as he often does and meant to say about 62 million, the number of people that voted for Trump. Those are the bad people I'll bet Joe had in mind.

The "right wing" does this all the time quoting FBI and police statistics that 6% of the population, roughly the number of Black males between the ages of 16 and 45, commit over half of all violent crime and when the "right wing" speaks these facts, the left wing loses their minds.
Teenage black males have the highest victimization rate (113 per 1,000 in 1992)
For all age groups, black males age 15-24 had the highest homicide rate (159 per 100,000 population).
Homicide data were reported on 25,180 offenders in 1992. Of these offenders for whom sex, age, and race were reported 90% were male 50% were age 15-24 55% were black.
73% of the violent crimes against whites, the offender was also white; in 84% of the violent crimes against blacks, the offender was black
These are the statistics that BLM and the Democratic party do not want to talk about that the right wing always wants to talk about because it is true.
Now there may be many reasons for the disparity. Poverty, lack of education, lack of job opportunity, one or no parent household, alcohol, drugs, gangs, you name it but the facts are the facts. White police officers are not hunting Black males. Police are dispatched according to the amount of crime in a given area. No crime, no cops. Plenty of crime, plenty of cops. If most violent crimes happens in minority neighborhoods, and it does, where do you think the majority of police will be? Who will they come into contact with the most?
If "community policing" were the answer as some of these protests are suggesting, why is the crime so high in minority neighborhoods like in Chicago and every urban city in America?
The fact of the matter is, while we may have a long way to go in addressing all the problems facing minority communities, what is as obvious as the nose on your face, is that "community policing" is not the answer, never has been, never will be. Stop the criminal activity and the police will have no one to hassle and no need for huge numbers.
That's how you defund police. Stop committing crimes.
