While I do call out BS and hypocrisy, I would say that I have more respect for providers in general than most of the White Knights who kiss their ass. I have called out individuals and specific acts, but do not make a practice of disparaging them as a group. In fact, I have called out ass-kissing behavior that was really rooted in belief that providers are inferior. So I have no anger stemming from my participation in P4P, just as I have no guilt from it. I see this as a transaction, and see no reason why I should take offense at the perceived inferiority or superiority of the person I'm dealing with.

As for the "attack pack" not treating me in a "packish" manner- I think it's because I don't give y'all much ammo. I don't lie about my age or really anything other than my name, I don't stir shit for the sake of stirring it, don't start threaADs, don't have any issues that make for good gossip and generally don't hang out with hobby people socially unless I'm getting paid my hourly fee. I don't ask for or expect anything from anyone here unless they set up some time with me. I just don't give y'all much to work with.

So not practicing false or misleading advertisement, not starting shit, avoiding threADs, and not having an unrealistic sense of entitlement, keeps the pack away. Got it.

As for why I rarely argue with Whispers- honestly it's because I have other things going on and unlike whispers I usually don't have the luxury of typing page long manifestos and then defending my point with circular logic indefinitely and to the death. I have shit to do and can't make the time commitment, it's certainly not out of fear if that was what you were implying.

Debating with Sixx is much more concise and time effective- it usually goes "You're an asshole!" "Ohhh noooo, YOU are an asshole!" and ends shortly after thus leaving me free to get on with whatever I was doing or thinking about earlier while somehow putting a spring in my step since I reminded him he's an asshole and that he should work on not being one.

There is no love/hate relationship with Sixx- it might look that way because when he starts to lose an argument he sweetens up to me real quick and I have a hard time being mean to people that are being nice to me. I don't hate him or even dislike him but I do despise the way he takes advantage of the less fortunate and i think it says a lot of things about who he is as a man.

This thread has taken a fun twist. In my opinion there is no attack pack per se but certain self-marketing celebrities have taken hold which is normal i guess. Over the months they have gotten to accept each other as the prevailing views of the board and have exalted in their fame. When a differing opinion arises against the prevailing players, its not truth, it's YOUR truth and the name calling starts.

There is rarely a agreement to disagree, and then civility goes out the window. it starts with the all too overused 'whining' then degenerates till the other side simply goes silent so is considered a win or they get someone to melt down and then gloat and joke about it.

And yes these celebrities do get Moderation special privileges and extra leeway. Ive even recently seen people get smacked down by mods about declaring a topic a threAD, because mods have that determination and not us, but certain celebrities get to throw out that ThreAD determination at will and I don't see the same cautionary moderation following their posts.

The reason, to me anyway, why we don't see more voices in co-ed isn't because there are so few without opinions, but some few who only accept theirs.
