After rereading OP's false alert thread it was unfortunate that I did not show up with Jade at said function. Three things would have occurred.

1. I would have been able to definitely back up the misinformation first hand
2. The OP would have left the function immediately as soon as I showed up
3. His supposed date would would have stayed behind. I would have made sure she would have been in GOOD hands!
