A simple question but not a simple answer. I've been reading the frequent use of the term by both the media, left wing activists, and democrat politicians. I don't see any conservatives using the term so it must be a construct of the left. So, I ask our left wing scholars here to inform us what is the Alt-Right. Since we see it continued to be spoken maybe we should all be on the same page as to what it means. Of course, some sort of evidence must be given to support any claims. Also, no cut and paste is going to be sufficient since everyone who uses it seems to mean more than one thing and ther is no real agreement.
Since there is an Alt-Right or so we have been told, there must be an Alt-Left. So please define that term as well.

alt-right is a response to the extreme left wing bias over the years.
it is a flame war group that is found in reddit.com in the one of their politics forum. they attack anyone who's a leftist.
I'm not sure of their political leanings, they appear to be partly conservative and nationalist. they are not like the KKK or nazis.
somehow this group which is smaller than the KKK or nazis got blown up in a public way last year.
alt-left is the "new Left" from the 70's re-branded. this is the group that led the take over of the democratic party in the 70's toward a leftist future.

I don't support chaos whether it's from the Right or the Left. I also do not support any racially charged group such as the KKK or Black Lives Matter. I only support the Constitution and The Bill of Rights and the Laws of this land. If the protesters in Charlottesville believed in that, that demonstration wouldn't have taken place. If these people wanted a valid protest they should have marched up to the White House and that goes for the last two administrations. The real instigator is in the halls Government not the streets of America.
