Anyone who knows anything about politics knows that they don't have the votes in the Senate. Its just a bunch of grandstanding unless something really big comes out of Muller. But Trump is about to get fucked with hard in the House. He deserves anything coming his way. Politicians who defend him are Anti American

If Mueller has "something big" he would have already revealed it.

Tick Tock.

you know that impeachment isn't going anywhere except that it will stay in the Dem-controlled House.

Here is a real world issue that Trump is going to face. The House is Democratic controlled. According to some in this forum, that doesn't mean anything. John Lennon is dead?

I think President Trump will end up working with the House Leadership in order to get something done.

He said himself that he didn't put that much effort into keeping the House in the hands of the Republicans because they weren't getting anything done either.

He knew the Senate was the key, as the House can't do anything to him politically, (impeachment), so he put a full effort into not only maintaining a majority, but increasing it.

He knows that Mueller has nothing that can be construed as criminal. So let the House take what ever Mueller comes up with and scream about impeachment. They will look like fools in the end.

It's smart politics.

Sorry SC

A lot may depend on the incoming house, if they go bat shit crazy and spend their time on investigating Trump the article will be correct.
If they stick to business and pass legislation which benefits the country then it may help in the election.

Using terms like "he knew" and "smart" when talking about Trump is a real laugh.

It's interesting the polarization of the nation into a small group of high populous states that are Blue and a large number of states with lower populations going Red.

We are currently more polarized at the state level that we have been in a century. From the Senate standpoint this does not bode well for Democrats.
