The folks at MSNBC decided that the fourth of July was the perfect time to remind America what a terrible country we are. This sort of America bashing always sells to the liberals, that make up the majority of MSNBC's tiny audience. Most Americans understand, that despite our imperfections, America is still the greatest country in the world, and deserves to be celebrated.

MSNBC is always a reminder that if someone wanted to spend several million dollars they could start a Nazi News network and have an audience. A very small audience. Some people in the audience would believe in the goal and others would just believe in the advertising that watching them is cool.

MSNBC helps the radical left to advance their agenda because they help to mainstream radical ideas. There's a perception that the socialist agenda must not be beyond the pale because it's being advocated by NBC News. I think NBC News is able to exploit it's legacy of normalcy from the days of Chet Huntely, David Brinkley and more recently Tim Russert, in order to create the perception that the crap they're peddling is mainstream.
