I try to get a general idea of what's in store for me before I see a provider. I don't think I'm being unreasonable here. "Donations" have cost me anywhere from $120.00/hr to (on a couple occasions) $1,000.00 for 2 hrs. Generally, 3 or 400 seems to be the going rate for a quality provider. If I'm going to put money on the pass line and roll the dice, I'm going to do that on a craps table in a casino. Neither am I going to go to an auto dealership and give them 40 or 50K and hope for the best.
