Ever Book a Playtime and Find You Know the Person in RL?

I've had never had anything nearly as close as the man in this news story, but I have met 3 times with providers who had a RL connection. There was the (obviously) now grown, childhood friend of one of my nieces, the only one that I had actually seen before-too long ago to recognize her. Then there was the niece of a coworker and a just distant enough (3rd, once removed) cousin. I actually know all my cousins closer than 3rd, so none of them could sneak up on me. In each case the connection was discovered in the after action chit chat.

I can't find it, but years ago on either this board or ASPD, in Texas I think, was a story of a member (the Scotsman, perhaps?), who booked a date and his ex-wife showed up. I think he posted it as a review. Don't remember the outcome.

This is good though, and what makes it really funny is that is made the news.

Earlier this year I met a chick on SA that ended up being the daughter of a childhood friend that i went to school with. It was uncovered during the before chit chat, and it was a fun two months while we saw each other a few times a week...

When Taylor Love was around here and first started posting I recognized her photos. The day after we met (a year or two before she started working) she sent me nude photos of herself and used the same photos in her ads. I called her and we talked about ECCIE first and eventually I had a session with her, but just once before all hell broke loose with all the drama.

I know another woman who, I assume, doesn't know that I know she is a provider. I've debated if I should just show up and let things play out or tell her in advance and see where it goes. I decided to set up an appointment and see where it went. It wasn't long ago and she cancelled an hour before and hoped she would make it up to me one day but then didn't reply to a request to reschedule the next day. Makes me wonder if she figured it out or not.

I had a neighbor who I used to exchange "hello's" with and occasional flirty glances, but he was renting and only stuck around for the span of a short lease. About 7 months later I was doing an incall in a different place & he showed up as my client! It wasn't a big deal since I knew he didn't know any personal information of mine nor I of his, beyond what we exchange in the course of screening/ booking etc. It ended up being a fun session since he filled me in on his fantasies about me when we were neighbors.
That was nothing serious though! It was a connection but luckily a harmless one.

Oh and I've had 2 that I later developed more connections with irl, unintentionally. I had an SD that eventually realised we had some friends in common. I had never met him or seen him around before our arrangement but after it ended we started running into each other at social events quite often. He and one of my exes are friends and now are working together.
I also became friends with a girl who ended up being the girlfriend of a client. They were split when he saw me, she knew about it and we all happened to know a lot of the same people. I met her out at a bar one night and we hit it off amazingly well. She knew who I was but I had no idea who she was or that she knew of my "evening gig" until after we had exchanged numbers and stuff. She wasn't crazy or jealous or any of that mess luckily- just unconventional and friendly! They are married now and we are still friends.

I worry about someone I know well contacting me sometimes though and I feel lucky nothing negative has come from any of the connections that I've had.

New Orleans feels like a small town sometimes a far as everyone seeming to know each other.

Edit- oh in that article it sounds like she was actually advertising and meeting clients herself right? She didn't just post it to catch her husband in the act?
At first I thought she just did it to snag him because the article makes it sound like he is solely at fault.

When I first started to hobby almost ten years ago, I was also working as a host in a popular chain restaurant. Literally One of my FIRST clients ever, was an much older Gentlemen who (with his wife) came in to eat every Sunday after church. We were both shocked when I opened the door, more so me who was mortified one of my first "dates" was someone I knew in RL. Needless to say, the session actually went more than fine, but I definitely got extra big smiles from him when he came to my other job every Sunday. Oddly and Thankfully enough, that was the Only time that ever happened. Awkward, to say the least..
