It used to be quite different. A place where there was more interesting conversation of a different sort. That disappeared long ago, unfortunately.

No, it doesn't HAVE to--but if it doesn't, then there is no reason for it to be a distinct forum from the general forum.
Sadly, I do not see kind of forum we used to have returning here. It is a loss, but unfortunately quality hand crafted things gives way to generic massed produced item in most areas, this is no different.
