Default Bad news for Liberals

Market DOW

Market is up significantly - appears to be recovering.

Too bad - liberal aspirations to crash the economy seem to be failing miserably!

I’m surprised the market is coming back. But there’s along way to go. Now that it’s ok to ignore social distancing if you’re looting and rioting, maybe it’s safe to open businesses, churches and beaches.

Where is your evidence that "liberals" wanted to crash the economy? Don't you think they invest just like conservatives? Liberals want to retire, too, you know!

The ends justifies the means. Democrats would gladly destroy the economy to defeat President Trump, and are actively trying to do so.

Thank u, CT.

Deflection from the point that liberals have desperately wanted a recession to defeat Trump - and have had their chance with Wuhan virus.

It remains to be seen how long-lasting the recession from Wuhan virus lasts.

Thank You for referring to all who disagree with u as "stupids" - an elitist Liberal POV.

Liberals - go ahead and elect Biden - he is asenile idiot - and the new Gang of 4 leaders of the DPST party will impose their socialism on America - and u will have the worst depression since the early 1930's.

They will destroy the US economy with their open borders, Soylent Green New Deal - Medicare for All ( meaning no medical care for nobody) - Increased Taxes, and stifling of free enterprise - and capitalism - those concepts -capitalism and free enterprise- are the biggest horrors to DPST's.

I guess that at a time when there is double-digit unemployment, a GDP that will be the worst in history in the 2nd quarter, a 50% fall in consumer spending, and a fall in exports of 35%, the rise in the stock market, which only directly impacts 54% of the adults in this country, is a positive to point at.

Even before the coronavirus hit, Trump was about a 50-50 bet to be reelected. Now it is less in my opinion. The reality still exists that 5-7 states will determine the election for president and the election will be close.

The economy is one part, albeit a very important part, of the political agenda of the POTUS. whether it be Trump or Biden come November 4th. I certainly believe Trump would be the better option to improving the economy because he will do ANYTHING to improve the economy to the detriment of other factors. When it comes to other parts of the political agenda such as health care, immigration, the environment, foreign affairs, race relations, LGBT issues, and the deficit I would rate Biden as the better option to improve conditions.

sure! Biden will kiss our "allies" asses, give them billions in aid, implement national health care and destroy health care in the US, tell "Corn Pop was a bad dude .. " stories and welcome every south american bum who can crawl to the border with citizenship.

Not meant as an insult to you but "it's the economy stupid" and in every poll I have seen, Trump beats Biden on that question. So if in fact that is the number one issue on the mind of a voter, Trump should win.

Moreover, the President seems to still be winning on the economy vs. former Vice President Joe Biden. In the CNN poll, Trump held a 12-point advantage when voters were asked who they trusted most to handle the economy. That's up from a 4-point margin for Trump last month.

But you are right that if your number one concern is whether a 9 year old Trans child will become adviser to the Secy, of Education, then yes, Biden will win. If one thinks that the only thing that matters, economy be damned, is "Black lives" and abolishing the police ( can you imagine the stupidity of that statement ) then yes, Biden wins. If one thinks that open borders and free health care for anybody that happens to be within our borders is a good idea, then yes, Biden wins.

I just don't see a majority of people putting any or all of those issues above whether they have a job and can make a living unless of course you believe in UBI where you will get a government check whether you work or not then yes, Biden wins and we lose America.
