Unlike the case with Trayvon Martin, this guy actually lived long enough to give a statement to the police.

When she stabbed him, she should have made sure he was dead.

First off, maybe she is a liar, but the snippet i pointed to pretty much only recognized what the victim said.

And secondly, if you miss something that obvious, perhaps you shouldn't go around insinuating other people are dumb.

If you can't follow a train of thought, just shut up.

And yet another point that seems, at least on the face of it, to point to the idea that her intent wasn't anything more than self defense. Again, i'm going off what the article that you linked to says happened in this case, you're going off something that happened over a decade ago.

Feel free to insult me again.

Speaking of missing something THAT obvious, here is a second snippet that followed a paragraph after your snippet:

-----------------------------------
"Photos of the apartment showed kitchen steak knives scattered throughout the apartment. Blood drops were on the carpet in the hallway where Daye said she stabbed him, but not in the master bedroom where Mangum said she stabbed him."
----------------------------------

So, the physical evidence matched HIS statement, not hers. Is the picture coming clearer?

No, I'm going off this article, too. The part where it says the physical evidence matched his statement, not hers.

Arrests since lacrosse case[edit]

Just before midnight on February 17, 2010, Durham police were called to Mangum's residence by her nine-year-old daughter. When they arrived, they said they found Mangum and her live-in boyfriend fighting. They said she set fire to some of his clothing in a bathtub in their presence. The building suffered heavy smoke damage. They arrested Mangum on charges of attempted murder, first-degree arson, assault and battery, identity theft, communicating threats, damage to property, resisting an officer, and misdemeanor child abuse.[6]
Mangum was ordered to remain in jail on $1 million bond. Her bond was lowered to $100,000 in May, and she was released from jail to live in a friend's house. She was required to wear an electronic monitoring device. On July 12, 2010, she was released from house arrest and required to move in with her mother. She was allowed to visit her three children but only under supervision of social services. Mangum was arrested again on August 25, 2010, and held on $150,000 bond for failure to comply with the restrictions on her child visitation order.[7]
On December 17, 2010, Mangum was convicted of contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, injury to personal property and resisting a public officer.[8] The jury deadlocked 9-3 for not guilty on the felony arson charge but was unable to reach a decision on it.[9] After the verdict, Judge Abe Jones sentenced Mangum to 88 days in jail, which she had already served, and left the custody decision in the hands of social services.[10] Durham Assistant District Attorney Mark McCullough announced on January 21, 2011, that he would not retry Mangum on arson charges.[11]
Second-degree murder conviction[edit]
Mangum was arrested on April 2, 2011, following accusations that she stabbed and seriously injured her boyfriend. She was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious bodily injury, a class C felony in North Carolina.[12][13] Her boyfriend later died in the hospital, and Mangum was indicted on a murder charge.[14] As of April 19, Mangum was being held in jail under a $300,000 secured bail bond, which was set prior to her boyfriend's death.[2][15] In November, Mangum was deemed competent to stand trial for murder.[16] On May 1, 2012, Mangum's attorney withdrew citing the release by Mangum of confidential information regarding her case to her supporters.[17] On February 20, 2013, Mangum was released on bail until trial.[18] On November 22, 2013, Mangum was found guilty of second-degree murder by a jury of seven men and five women. Judge Paul Ridgeway sentenced her to serve a minimum of 14 years, 2 months and a maximum of 18 years in prison.

So evidently she got two bites out of the apple to kill this guy.

And HIS statement sounds an awful lot like it was self defense on her part. Which, i would think, is a lot more important than which room she actually stabbed him in. Unless you can think of a reason she would lie and say she stabbed him in the bedroom when it was in the hallway. Not saying she stabbed him in the bedroom, but in what i'm sure was a bit of mayhem, mucking up that one detail seems pretty insignificant.

If I cared about the case, I might comment how social programs could have dealt with what appears to be her rage and mental health issues. If I wanted to delve further into the evidence, I would want to understand how it wasn't a self defense case. However, the larger point is that if she were white like Zimmerman, we all know she would get a greater benefit of the doubt. White people always do. White people are a big problem in multicultural societies. They feel like they are superior and deserve special privileges, when they have had everything given to them their whole lives.

Default the manchurian murderess

the duke lacrosse team is to blame for her murdering her boyfriend

they racially profiled her and did not consider her worthy of raping and hurt her feelings so much that she was not to blame for the outcome of the lacrosse's team heinous and racist acts

the duke lacrosse team should be investigated for aiding and abetting and being the "brains" behind the murder. much like a murder for hire, or being brainwashed and programmed by racism, she is not to blame, at least she should not shoulder the sole blame.

there is a strong likelihood, had the rich racist white boys at duke raped her, her boyfriend would be alive today

Actually, she is a woman. And women ALWAYS get the greater benefit of the doubt in he said, she said cases.

Unless, of course they are obviously guilty.

It's like real estate. Location, location, location.

Both of them said he kicked in the bathroom door and grabbed her by the hair. She said he tried to strangle her then and they somehow wound up in the bedroom where she stabbed him.

But, apparently, she had no explanation as to how she got away from being strangled by him, went into the kitchen, got at least one knife, and came back to where he was in the hallway and stabbed him. That would indicate self-defense wasn't necessary, she could simply have left the house once she got to the kitchen. Going back after him sounds like revenge.

Of course, she tried to say HE got the knives, not her, and for some unknown reason, THREW them and - I guess - she picked one up and stabbed him in the bedroom. That story sounds ridiculous. She no doubt made stupid and easily disproved statements to the cops before she spoke to her lawyer. That pretty much eliminated his ability to make a believable claim of self-defense.
