its a feelings issue!!!

people fell for the liberals feelings propaganda which came out in the early 60's.

we now have students without any discipline causing problems in big & small matters.

you did not see this prior to 1965.

African nations have few guns but still plenty of mass killings. Ever hear of the hacking off of limbs with machetes? Happened often in Rwanda, Congo, Liberia, and many more. Psycho people will kill, Unabomber, OKC bombing, 911, no guns used yet still mass killings.

They, the politicians, misdirect us and how stupid the people are to listen. The real issue here is if we allow the government to take our guns, then who is left with weapons? The government and we all know how they never fuck up anything, all their programs and systems work perfectly and protect all so much. Name one government program that works well, just one, dare you! The issue is done have a right to protect ourselves from foreign and domestic enemies. We do, hell, the enemy is already here, who executed 911 attacks, enemies within our borders. If guns were outlawed the government and the enemies will all have weapons while we sit and wait for our inevitable doom.

Wake up people! Stop with the polarization of our country. Stop depending on the government to fix your problems, fix them yourself. With freedom also comes responsibility. Wish I had some of both instead of socialists taking it all away. I lose responsibility but I also lose my freedom with each law passed.

It takes a village to have a great country not a bunch of gun toting deplorables looking out for themselves. Your response is typical of republicans that only care about if they are personally ok and screw everyone else. Only someone lacking in the ability to use common sense would think that gun control would not impact gun violence. So basically your full of crap.

That's a valid point. I saw someone going on about he had a choice of 4 pistols to get, all .22 cal for varmit hunting, to keep stuff away from his chickens he raises..
ONE had stuff on it, that made it look 'kewler', but cause it had some of that stuff on it, his HOA regulations saw it as 'an assault weapon, which is not allowed to be shot on HOA property'..

StandinStraight (SIS) I really hope you are not a college professor, your debate skills suck, you give no coherent concepts not even nor analogs. You, sir, do not appear intelligent enough to be a scholar. I expected more from you.

I never said I was a republican, no data appears as such. I also believe in gay rights, am I now a Democrat. No I am not. I believe in freedom, not restricting you nor me nor any American as much as possible. You do not like guns, great, I will never advocate for you to be forced to have a gun, I will fight to protect your freedom even though you are no great debater. Freedom to decide on our own, because your decisions should not effect me.

I agree it takes a village to have a great country. Please name one village in our countries history that was without weapons? Just one, please. Pilgrims had them, native Americans had them, westerners had them, colonials had them, our entire history had them. So, what evidence can you present that a village absent of weaponry makes it great? I am listening. But appears your arguing is elementary and your dumbest students probably stump you. You sir cannot convince you are a scholar on any level, much less a college professor.

This country is crawling with guns, yet gun violence is rare unless you go looking for it. My little suburban cul de sac is armed to the teeth, and if I project that onto the surrounding neighborhood then that's hundreds of deer rifles, AR's and AK's, and thousands of handguns within a mile radius. Yet still we have relatively peaceful middle to upper middle class residential bliss. Obviously there's not a high correlation between gun ownership and violence or there would be Mad Max beyond Thunderdome in my little piece of Niceville.

Blame for these types of incidents should be assigned elsewhere, but guns are an easy scapegoat if you drive on the left side of the road. The real social and cultural reasons driving this sort of thing, and the decline of the USA generally speaking, are complex and sensitive topics that touch too close to home to sacred leftist causes to be examined critically by mainstream media. So you get "ban the guns!"

Tsmokie, your statement has to he one of the most racist and redneck uneducated statements there is. First off you know not the color of anyone's nor their education or upbringing, how can you say such a down right stupid thing. Do you realize how dumb it makes you look?

Someone please put.together a good argument debating my points. Or is that just impossible and all you can do is name call, and resort to immature Idiocracy?
