You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. The M-16 is a Military Tactical rife used in the act of assault it is fully automatic. The AR-15 is the civilian version although they may look alike they function a bit differently. The AR-15 is not designed or commonly used for assault purposes because it is Semi Automatic. I'm not certain what the real logic is behind attacking the American right to bear arms. Yes, that is exactly what it is. Don't argue it isn't. My only guess is that its easy votes from scared people.

It's tragic when these shooting happen. Let's ban the weapon that did it, right? I cannot explain how futile that would be. It would not prevent a single one of these shootings.

Just thought of this. Most everyone on the left and a lot of folks in the middle and some on the right, understand that building a wall will do nothing to stop illegal immigrants or smuggling across the border.

Is the same thing with gun control. More laws or bans will be even less affective at curbing these shootings than an actual wall is at curbing illegal border activities.
