Trump went in a different direction, he didn't do it illegally and he has made some impressive contributions here at home. I don't hold it against him that he didn't serve in the Military. He's serving his country as President, it doesn't get much better than that.

People in the military put their lives on the line in support of their country. Politicians do not. For whatever reasons, the leaders of this country thought it to be important to send half a million soldiers to Vietnam at one point in time. 58,220 soldiers lost their lives and countless others were physically and mentally wounded. Yes, their are many ways to serve your country but serving in the military is, to me, a batter way than being POTUS.

That is the "legal" method, even if the cops don't stop you and say it's "against the law."

On the other hand ... Clinton deceived and lied. His propensity for LYING continued into his Presidency during which he LIED AGAIN to the American people and yet again under oath as DETERMINED by a Federal Judge presiding over the preceding in which he lied under oath. Lying on documents utilized by the Federal Government is a felony, whether you "think" it is or not and even if the cops don't stop you and say it's "against the law."

You're about as qualified at legal analysis as you are predicting the outcomes of Presidential elections. Zip!
Stay out of this old man. When you can say you've served in the military then you can rejoin the conversation.

You are wasting your good sense on them. They NEVER criticize Obaminable or PERJURY BILL for NOT SERVING IN THE MILITARY but will argue about somone's "bone spur" .... trying to ignore reality.
You are starting off the day showing off your stupidity in full form. Did I mention Clinton as a possible draft dodger? YES!! Has anyone in this discussion mentioned Bush? NO!!

The draft ended in 1973. End of draft dodging.

I find it rather amusing that Jim and I can have a rather pleasant discussion on this subject and you feel it necessary to come in and drag the thread into the gutter. As usual. Sort of like a lying, ignorant, redneck, hillbilly.

You are old but you have a lot of growing up to do.

I wasn't on this forum when Bush was president, but I can just imagine. These Liberals bring more conflict into this forum than they are worth. They aren't nearly as educated as they think they are, and they have absolutely no common sense what so ever. Name calling and insults is all they have.

I wonder if John F. Kennedy would have a different opinion of that.

And they act offended when they get a dose of their own medicine from other posters in this forum.

I am not sure if you really understand the whole idea of War and what's really at stake. Here's a hint it's got nothing to do with your liberties, freedom
or peace.

Are you a MOD now or do you just "believe" you are.

I'm in the conversation. Go back to 6th street where you belong.

He's not old enough to understand the difference.

He's also not intelligent enough to understand there is politics in the military as well.

If I recall he's never been in a "live fire" situation. Just plinking at paper.

I was on aspd political forum and LL was cheering Bush as he headed into Iraq like he owned Halliburton.

Next thing you know, Trump was running in 2016 and saying how stupid and costly that war was and LexusLover seem to have amnesia!

So you half right about a group being being conflicted....group of God damn chicken hawks!
