IMNHO, the success of this proposed forum is going to hinge on the mods that will be assigned to work it. There's just too much diversity between the various cities with regard to member's personalities, their posting styles, etc. that careful consideration need be given to whomever tosses their hat into the ring and wants to take on this mod. position.

But yeah, I dig the idea...

err...wait a minute; Joanie and Whimpers with a national audience?



Oh the HORROR!

With internet, cell phones, and technology making the global community a bit smaller, yeah I can see it as a benefit.
Good example, the super bowl being held in Dallas (err Arlington) this coming February, should attract an influx of providers looking to tap into the associated client demographic. Info and research is your best ally, and a global locker room would be an excellent tool towards that end. A way for clients to find out about providers touring or new to the area. In addition to the other benefits noted earlier.
