Where else in the world should we sacrifice our soldiers for women who are mistreated? It's a noble cause but one we can't afford in lives or treasure. The deal with the Taliban is, don't let actors like Al Qeada or ISIS have free rein in Afghanistan and we are gone. If Afghans want to kill each other, there is nothing we can do to stop that and 18 years has shown us that.


It's a shame we can't protect the innocents in Afghanistan but we have seen that we can't. We can't anywhere and that's just a fact. Protect America and her citizens and that is all I ask from our government with great regret that we can't help everybody, everywhere.

Trying to stop the spread of an ideology we don't like is a relic of the past if we are talking about boots on the ground. We'll have no choice but to aid our NATO alliance as it stands now but if the Taliban break their word on allowing foreign actors on their soil to plan attacks on the US, we make life as uncomfortable as we can and kill as few civilians as we can but civilians will always be killed, it can not be completely eliminated.


A war between Turkey and Russia, a small one that is going on now, is the gift that keeps on giving as long as Russia doesn't try and invade Turkey which of course they would never do so we will not have to come to the aid of Turkey. Couldn't happen to two more deserving countries. We get out of wars and Russia gets in. Gotta love it!
