Just a scam. They pull info from BP. The only way the gals can get off of it is to pay a fee. It is much cheaper to get a new phone number. So that is part of the reason the BP gals change numbers so often.

Yep...They pull ads from several different sources including BP. They even alter the ad somewhat. (first hand experience). There is another one for BUSTED Johns...based on phone numbers. IF you go there and search your number...it WILL be added to the list of BUSTED JOHNS. So resist the urge to do this or you will find your own phone number on the list. SCAMMERS want $500 to take it off.

Yes Mam, guys freak out when they see this info. If they do a search here, it has been discussed many times in various forums. It helps if you explain this to them.

Super illegitimate site! They use their scam site as click bait for other sites like Ashley Madison, AFF and many more. All they do is scan backpage for their content. The removal request process is an absolute nightmare. I actually filed a Ripoff Report on the site as well.

Wouldn't that site be blackmail...which is one of those crimes that's worse than virtually all other crimes? Blackmail, kidnapping, trafficking, and a few others are supposed to be those 'oh, HELL no' crimes, that, if you're caught doing those, it trumps the petty crimes, right??

After an experience with a local scammer/wanna be pimp in my area, I googled my number and found it listed on two of these "busted escort" sites. I have never been arrested for anything, nor have i even had this number long enough for someone to list it there unless it was this wanna be who is attempting to get revenge on me because he wasn't able to TAKE what he THOUGHT WAS OWED to him! He obviously immediately went to both sites and posted my number and I cannot even get a response from them when I send the removal report! I had been concerned recently about why my phone was suddenly so quiet, but now I know! The FIRST GOOGLE RESULT that pops up on my phone number is the "busted escorts" site. Which, by the way, lists every single girl in Kansas City who has ever advertised on BP. If we were all busted, literally I guess every escort in KC is working with the police! It is NOT right and I even think the guys who run these sites could be local pimps. I wish they'd just shut these sites down. If anyone knows a way to get my number of these sites, please let me know! I have two reviews and am NOT a busted escort! HELP!!!!

Me either. It's amazing what some people will fall for. But then, common sense isn't really very common.

Very simple...CHANGE your phone number! Get at GV number to use for advertising...when a NEW guy searches the number...that busted site won't pop up. That way, you can maintain your old/regular number for the clients you have already seen and are repeat clients. If they steal your new GV number...very easy to change it. I've not known them to steal a second number...FWIW. Not to say they don't.

They have no legal rights to post your images without your permission, screw the phone number. You go at them for copyright infringement with your images. Companies like this are a nightmare but with some effort you CAN get your info removed or you can sue the hell out of them for stealing your photo's which is a HUGE no no legally.

Do a search on the whois data base on their website to get the registry into on that particular domain, in this particular sites case it is guarded so you have to write to legal@enom.com

In your email you'll want to include a notice like this:

My name is YOUR LEGAL NAME and I am the President of Name of your company. A website that your company hosts (according to WHOIS information) is infringing on at least one copyright owned by my company.
An article was copied onto your servers without permission. The original ARTICLE/PHOTO, to which we own the exclusive copyrights, can be found at:

Your Website or Your Ad

The unauthorized and infringing copy can be found at:

Link to the post with your images/phone number on the website

This letter is official notification under Section 512(c) of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (”DMCA”), and I seek the removal of the aforementioned infringing material from your servers. I request that you immediately notify the infringer of this notice and inform them of their duty to remove the infringing material immediately, and notify them to cease any further posting of infringing material to your server in the future.

Please also be advised that law requires you, as a service provider, to remove or disable access to the infringing materials upon receiving this notice. Under US law a service provider, such as yourself, enjoys immunity from a copyright lawsuit provided that you act with deliberate speed to investigate and rectify ongoing copyright infringement. If service providers do not investigate and remove or disable the infringing material this immunity is lost. Therefore, in order for you to remain immune from a copyright infringement action you will need to investigate and ultimately remove or otherwise disable the infringing material from your servers with all due speed should the direct infringer, your client, not comply immediately.

I am providing this notice in good faith and with the reasonable belief that rights my company owns are being infringed. Under penalty of perjury I certify that the information contained in the notification is both true and accurate, and I have the authority to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright(s) involved.

Should you wish to discuss this with me please contact me directly.

Thank you.
Your Name
Your Address
City, State Zip Code
Your Phone Number
Your Email

and send it.

If it's not removed you go talk to a lawyer.
I know it's a whole lot of effort But two things WILL happen,
They will remove it OR you sue the hell out of them and the website won't exist and you'll wind up with some money out of the deal. If you just keep changing your phone number they will continue pulling this crap.

If enough people report the website to the hosting company that company will pull them for legal violations.

You can also send their company a bill for using your images and then sue them for non payment. It happens all the time and people just let it slide, stop letting it slide and eventually you'll wind up rich from lawsuits or they will get the hint and stop doing it.

AimeeJoBlowes, I suggest that you first submit a removal request through the website. Most of these websites have a quick little form you fill out with your phone number and email and they will then take you off the site.

If that does not work, then you can put in a little more work and send out the DCMA take down requests.

You send the take down notice to the website and if they don't respond, then you send the take down notice to the company hosting the site. If the site is hosted in the USA they will most likely just take down the pictures in question unless the website can prove they have rights to the pictures. Some people just start with sending the take down notice directly to the web host and don't even mess around trying contact the website owners.

The thing is you need to know who is actually hosting the site and a simple domain name search isn't going to tell you that.

You can use the website below to both look up the whois info and the hosting info by selecting the "domain whois record" and "network whois record" for the search.

http://domainwhitepages.com/

It takes some perseverance but you can somewhat control your images if you are willing to put in some work. Unfortunately, there are some sites owned and hosted by companies outside the USA who really don't give a fuck about our copyright laws because they know it will cost the average person A LOT of time and money to legally enforce the copyright since the offenders are outside the USA.
