Opening up businesses to early is the problem...but tens of thousands of people marching down the streets in any given town at any time in protest of George Floyd...was not the problem.

Yeah sure, the businesses are the problem.

Houston's wonderful mayor and equally corrupt liar police chief encouraged it all.

Oh boy ^^^^Let's keep the political discussion on another board.
Governor just issued order for almost all counties to "Mask Up".

Political??? It's not political. It's just the truth.

IT was like...okay, the riots/protests where tens of thousands of people were marching down the streets at the same time...burning buildings, vandalizing Churches, killing people, looting, that was all okay because it was about a black guy.

As soon as George Floyd gets buried, it's back to the virus.

That idiot Sylvester Turner even came out and said...the protests had nothing to do with this 2nd wave of the virus...

But the bars with 15 people in them....they are the problems.

There is no doubt the virus has to be taken seriously.

Don't let skin color get in the way of common sense and reality.

^^ I don’t think you’re getting his point. This is not the forum for politics - which side was right or wrong...

The original point was wether we would see another shutdown of the spas or another total lockdown. Based on the latest order and the numbers trending upward again, it seems to be a real possibility. Nothing to do with politics or the blame game.

Personally speaking, growing up around black people, I never recall them referring to themselves as African American, I took it for granted that since they too were born here they considered themselves American, just saying, I do agree however, Mayor Turner is an idiot as is Hidalgo and add Acevedo to the pile of shit. I don't believe another shut down is in the works, must wear a mask though.

The hospitals just shut down all elective surgeries for the state.

why? because we were running out of beds for covid patients.
my place was full until the order came through to shut down electives.

I hope i am wrong but i feel life as we knew it is over.
We to date have never cured a virus.
Our "cures" is to get a smaller dose of this years mutated virus.

How many of you remember Logans Run.
Life now resembles a movie.

You want a movie that mirrors what's going on right now, watch Contagion. That will keep you up at night!
