Default Museums? Cultural activities? Gardens?

If I were to take a one day sightseeing tour of Pittsburgh, what would be the "must see" suggestions that you folks would have for me?

Also, are there any famous restaurants one should try while in town?

Thanks, in advance, for taking the time to answer!!!

Sincerely,
Elisabeth

You would have to go to Randyland.

Not a museum but one guy's house, decorated out of this world.
He's an Icon on the Pittsburgh's North Side.

Also

We also have a Toon Museum downtown

Beside going up to Mt Washington to see the view of the city, the strip district has a very nice history museum and some great eateries. The science center on the north side might be of interest.

The science center is a joke. I was there not too long ago and a good portion of the exhibits are broken because shitty parents refuse to control their shitty children.

Warhol Museum and if you don't mind a drive - Fallingwater

For food, Butcher in the Rye downtown.
And Primanti's since you are obligated to instagram a picture of your sandwich.

Hey there Sweetheart, been a while since I was last in the 'burgh, but I am offering you a NY Times link that although from 2015 has likely only improved short stay opportunities.

https://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/19/t...ittsburgh.html

Have a great visit!

And it makes a much better selfie background than the museums.
