Aren't there tools these spas can use to scan their premises to see if these scum bags have put there cameras in? How this has not gotten to the supreme court as an infringement of the whatever amendment it is that they are breaking under this horseshit patriot act.

Was in Bali. Tried to use browser on my phone in bali. Wouldnt work. Wouldnt connect for some reason. Also new sign in room in Bali about no electronics.

You can be sure that the owner of every AMP in the country has paid a visit to a spy shop during the past week to invest in countermeasures. The publicity of the FL bust has actually made it harder for such methods to be used again.
It would be hard to sneak/break in to plant bugs anyway in a place that is either open 24/7 or which has people sleeping there when it is closed. So that strategy would be less promising in Dallas even if TX law allows it.

It used to be limited to murder and drugs in Texas, but it appears that they now have authority to wire tap for prostitution and human trafficking.
